As a Sr. Accountant, you will maintain a general ledger and review financial statements for accuracy before preparing reports that will assist senior management in making informed decisions about upcoming projects or years’ budgets. They’re also responsible for keeping track and recording all transactions within a company.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Cash

•  Review cash transactions running through Netsuite’s cash application module for Babylist, Inc. and our subsidiaries.
• Record cash transactions not captured through Netsuite’s cash application module, assigning coding as necessary and resolving open coding questions.
• Perform monthly cash account reconciliations between Netsuite and our bank, ensuring that reconciling items are identified, followed up on and resolved on a timely basis.

Credit Card Transactions

• Record Amex/ Brex credit card transactions.
• Reconcile Amex/ Brex credit card payables.  Identify and resolve any reconciling items on a timely basis.
•  Accrue for credit card rebates as necessary.  Track and report on available rebate

Receivables

• Assist in reconciling receivables for our durable medical equipment company, including matching funds received against outstanding customer/ insurance receivables.

Prepaids                                                                                                        

• Ensure that prepaid is set up appropriately by reviewing invoices, and ensuring that prepaid is set up in FloQast using the appropriate amortization period, account, and amortization account destination. 
• Reconcile prepaid accounts to the general ledger every month.  Identify and resolve any reconciling items on a timely basis.

Fixed and Intangible Assets

• Reconcile intangible asset/ accumulated amortization accounts every month, ensuring the sub-ledger agrees to Netsuite.
• Assist in Fixed Asset projects as necessary.

General Tasks 

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

As an Analyst 2, Finance, and part of the Global Payments, you will be responsible in processing the end-to-end payments for the assigned region or entity on a timely and accurate manner that requires close coordination with key stakeholders such as AP Team, Corporate & Local Treasury, and other Teams within GFO. You also need to ensure that issues or concerns will be addressed and resolved on a timely manner and to maintain a harmonious relationship with your stakeholders. As a General Accountant you will be primarily responsible to prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statements and other financial reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, fncial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. The General Accountant is responsible to report the Company's finances to the management and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. We are looking for a new Financial Accountant to join our team. The role will be incredibly varied, from taking ownership of the month-end close (and associated reporting) from start to finish, to assisting with several different projects and helping the team to become fit for the future. This individual will be expected to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and be adaptable and proactive in their work approach to assist with the wider projects and deliverables of the team.

As a financial accountant, you will play a key part in ensuring that our monthly and other reporting deadlines are met. This will involve completing the detailed month-end postings, balance sheet recs, bank recs, and so forth. This individual would be expected to be the main contact for the year-end audit process, alongside assisting with the other reporting requirements which we have.

We are looking for someone with a hand on and can-do attitude. This will be key to ensuring that we can make the finance team fit for the future. The projects and ad-hoc work to which the team have exposure are significant and varied. For example, we are currently in the process of applying for a license for a new regulated entity in Ireland, we are integrating new acquisitions into the cluster, migrating to new systems, and often assisting with business partnering on a range of different matters.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation and control of monthly management information;
• Preparation of annual financial statements and management of the year end audit process;
• Assisting with the preparation of regulatory returns;

As Accountant you will responsible to provide high quality finance and accounting support services to the Offices and Shared Services Team located in the Philippines. The role will assist the PH Accounting Lead to manage all the accounting, collection, audit and tax reporting for the office, providing guidance on local process and procedure, managing the reporting, budgeting, and statutory audit coordination in compliance with Group guidelines.

Avid is looking for an Accountant to join its US Shared Services Accounting Services team! The role is located in the Philippines and can be performed at home or as a hybrid position from our office in Taguig! It will require to work on a night shift. 

What you’ll do

• Play a role in monthly accounting close, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations and flux analysis.
• Assists with preparation of audit schedules for quarterly review/annual audit.
• Prepare Royalty reports and corresponding payment requests.
• Assists with accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team.
• Assist with monthly fixed asset closing process.
• Potential for cross training in other areas, such as SEC, Tax, and Revenue recognition.
• Other related duties as assigned.
• Tax and Revenue ad hoc projects as necessary.

Who you are

• You have bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have a thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and accounts reconciliations.
• You are organized and detail-oriented.
• You have a demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• You have a first experience with an accounting software (preferably SAP).
• You must show ability to manage multiple tasks and delivery dates.
• You have strong English written and verbal communication skills.

The finance analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, recording, documentation and dissemination of financial information. The candidate will process and reconcile finance related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, customer service and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will provide support during night shift corresponding to Bermuda working hours and be part of the Finance team.

You'll play a key role supporting our Client Services team, providing exceptional accounting administration services to your portfolio of clients.
