Duties and responsibilities: 

• Classifying cash transactions in Quickbooks and cash reconciliations in Quickbooks.
• Preparing accounts payable postings and making payments to vendors.
• Emailing accounts receivable invoices to customers.
• Preparing financial statements and reports.
• Performing the basic accounting functions.
• Correcting any inaccuracies and errors.
• Performing reconciliations of all the reports
• Supervising and tracking incomes and expenses.
• Validating bank accounts.
• Maintaining ledger accounts.
• Performing data entry and word processing.
• Performing clerical duties as and when required.
• Suggesting improvements in the budget.
• Adhering to all the accounting rules and regulations.
• Assisting with sales tax applications to invoices before being sent to customers
• Reporting monthly sales taxes to correct states and assisting with filings

•  At least 1 year of proven experience working as an Accounting Associate or in a similar position in the Accounting department.
• Extensive knowledge of Quickbooks is a big advantage but any accounting software tool experience is acceptable.

Position : Accounting Operations Analyst 4

Working Hours : 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM US Pacific Time (PST)

Salary Range : $800-$1600

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounting and financial files, including financial workbooks, property spreadsheets, and trackers
• Work with Property Managers, Asset Managers and other accountants to enter information into financial workbooks
• Assist with monthly reporting process
• Check emails daily (manage personal inbox, accounting inbox)
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Analyze financial data and provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including A/R analysis, collections, and vendor inquiries.
• Update ACH information and assist with tenant billings as needed.
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and budget-to-actual explanations, creating invoices and
  posting charges to tenant ledgers
• Provide support for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and reporting, including
  generating, modifying, preparing, and formatting monthly financial reports for the company properties
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation in electronic filing systems, including
  maintaining the Accounting Dropbox folder hierarchy and integrity.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and address inquiries in a
  timely manner.
• Work on ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed, including projects where there may be
  ambiguity or which do not have clearly established processes to reference
• Maintain and update accounting and financial information in the prescribed standards and
  systems
• Flexibility to support several different teammates within the Property Accounting department
  and to prioritize and balance different responsibilities
• Effectively and clearly track and communicate the status of workflow tasks to supervisors
• Prepare journal entries (tenant charges, receipts, payables, accounting-related journal entries or
  reclasses) within our accounting system, including providing adequate supporting
  documentation.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• CPA is preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, financial operations, accounting, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of debits and credits and bookkeeping entries
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Accounting system experience preferred

The Accounting Associate is responsible for monitoring the schedule of payments by checking on the details and records of payments that are due to be made to different creditors. The position safe keeps the records of business debts and payments to be made for the services availed from other service providers or entities and other corporate obligations. Furthermore, the position ensures that payments made are properly validated through the presentation of periodic reports and payment schedules in order to ensure that proper funding is established prior to the settlement of payables. 

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all accounts payable matters for both regular and special expenses.
• Prepare checks and vouchers and all necessary attached documents for the payment process.
• Safe-keep and maintains records of assigned company transactions.
• Handle bank-to-bank transactions, check payments, debit memos, etc.
• Other matters related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable 

• Consolidate the accounts
• Prepare and submit tax related reporting
• Prepare monthly report, Profit & Loss Accounts, Balance Sheet
• Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
• Process invoices

What will you do?

• Supervise staff and oversee closing of several companies’ books. On a timely basis, analysis specific companies’ activities including agreements, resolutions, other documents and record necessary entries to reflect current transactions.
• Reconcile and analyze books and records and quickly and efficiently adjust books to reflect GAAP.
• Prepare SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, S-1, management discussion and analysis and review of iXBRL while interacting closely with auditors and lawyers.
• Prepare full financial statements and notes to financials including balance sheet, income statement, statement of changes in stockholders’ equity and cash flow statement. Prepare books for monthly  and quarterly reporting.
• Prepare and review audit supporting schedules and complete disclosure and inquiry checklist for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Analyze and explain differences from previous quarter. Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP. Assist partners with various projects.
• Documentation of technical accounting memos for recent accounting pronouncements and complex accounting transactions
