Working Hours: Flexible as long as the hired candidate is able to work 4 hours UK time Zone the remaining hours can be flexible.

Role Overview:

 As an Operations Analyst at Appleton Way, you will play a key role in the heart of our operations. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities including sourcing new products, setting up brands on Shopify, managing logistics, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of our business ventures. You will be expected to bring a mix of analytical skills and creativity to drive improvements and efficiency across our operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and eCommerce trends.
• Assist in setting up and optimizing eCommerce stores on Shopify.
• Analyse logistics and supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project timelines and expectations are met.
• Prepare and present reports on operational performance and project progress.
• Support the development and implementation of operational strategies.
• You should be willing to get involved in different parts of the business beyond your core job description.
• Perform General admin/ Executive Assistant responsibilities.

• 3+ years of experience in Operations or a similar role.
• Must be a native or near-native English speaker.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, particularly Shopify, is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Proven track record of success in previous roles; experience in operations is a plus but not required.

• This individual will be building out lists of prospective recruits in the insurance agency field, then accessing client's LinkedIn for direct outreach and setting up calls/meetings
• They will then do the same thing for prospective clients with defined criteria
• Research topics and coordinate flights and travel both for work and personal use
• Schedule conversations and meetings for client
• Event planning for work (coordinate get togethers for team and team building activities)
• Coordinate vendors and develop outreach work or capturing sign ups

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Above Average to Excellent communication and written skills; minor accent is acceptable

What will you do?

• Manage all accounting operations including:
• A/R and Client Billing
• Collections
• A/P
• General Ledger
• Process payments and invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, resolve discrepancies, and address outstanding balances.
• Monitor and manage outstanding accounts, proactively following up on overdue payments and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and review financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Review and verify vendor records, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial information by conducting regular audits and reconciliations.
• Resolve discrepancies and issues related to accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare reports for management, providing insights on cash flow, aging balances, and financial performance.
• Maintain organized filing systems, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Monitor and meet payment deadlines, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors and customers regarding billing, payments, and account information.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and providing input on accounts payable/receivable projections.
• Assist administration with miscellaneous projects such as client tax return assembly and e-filing. Follow up with client if not received in a timely manner.
• Back up for support staff as needed
