Bar Manager

What you will be doing:

• Works in close cooperation with all other staff assigned to the outlet, as well as Kitchen Stewarding and Cashiers.
• Works as per the outlets duty schedule and shifts.
• Observes and corrects pouring practice of all bar staff to avoid excess wastage.
• Ensures that orders are only issued against written / printed receipts.
• Ensures own appearance (condition of uniforms) and grooming of all bar staff is impeccable.
• Welcome arriving guest and ensures prompt service.
• Extend prompt services to all guests.
• Ensures the well-being of all guests by maintaining a close professional, friendly, yet discrete relationship.
• Maintains cleanliness and best possible maintenance of the bar counter and all related areas.
• Handles guest complaints directly or refers them to the assistant Manager or the Bar Manager.
• Attends all meetings or briefings to maintain an open communication within the team.
• Knows the bar menu and price structure by heart and can recommend when a guest asks for assistance.
• Flexible to work in other areas when required by the immediate Supervisor.
• Aware of basic cashier work and handles payments promptly and efficiently.
• Familiar with the company’s internal policies and safety procedures.
• To have a complete understanding of and to adhere to Swissotel Al Murooj policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
• Be familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for the department.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• This person is responsible for managing the Accounting functions and operations of U-Bix affiliate, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, ascertaining the propriety of financial transactions in conformity with accounting standards, company policies and procedures.
  
• Responsible for providing support the operations of the Affiliates in the areas of financial control, financial reporting, general and payables accounting budgeting, cost accounting and taxation.
  
• Responsible for managing external audit engagement and coordination completion and filing of audited financial statements and statutory financial reports.
  
• Coordinates closely with U-Bix Treasury for efficient management of Affiliates' cash to ensure timely payment of financial obligations and maintaining adequate cash required for operations.
  
• Coordinates closely with U-Bix Tax team for efficient management of Affiliates' tax obligations to ensure accurate and timely filing and payment.
  

• Must be a CPA
  
• Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  
• Must have at least 10 years relevant experience, at least 2 years of which are in managerial capacity
  
• With advanced knowledge in general accounting, financial planning and analysis
  
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
  
• Knowledgeable in automated accounting systems
  
• Proficient in the preparation of management reports and presentations
  
• With excellent leadership skills
  
• Highly proficient in problem-solving and decision-making
  
• With with good financial reporting and analysis background

As a Senior Manager in our Tax Team, you will be a strategic business partner to our clients - helping them transform their mobility programmes. You will be responsible for leading and managing a variety of projects on new and existing clients, helping to increase efficiencies and bringing in the specialist skills and experience as needed from across the team and wider Global Mobility practice within Vialto Partners.

Other day-to-day responsibilities will be varied, and may include:

• Delivering accurate and proactive tax advice on issues pertaining to the deployment of mobile employees.
• Conducting      tax consultations for assignees with complex situations and VIPs.
• Supporting current and new Global Mobility technology products.
• Identifying consulting and other business development opportunities.
• Liaising with overseas colleagues in order to provide coordinated global tax advice.
• Overseeing the personal and technical development of more junior colleagues.
