About the Role:

We are seeking a versatile individual to fill the position of Bookkeeper & Graphic Designer. This role involves a combination of bookkeeping, administrative, and creative graphic design tasks, catering to the unique needs of our religious institution.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable:
• Manage and process accounts payable in an accurate and timely manner.
• Billing and Follow-up:
• Handle billing tasks and follow up on membership fees and donations.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Undertake various administrative duties, with a focus on email and calendar management.
• Graphic Design:
• Create visually appealing flyers and emails for communication with temple members.
• Utilize artistic skills to contribute to the design process.

• Minimum 3 years of experience for both roles
• Above Average to Excellent communication and written skills; minor accent is acceptable
• Tools: QuickBooks Online, Word, Excel, Graphic Design tools, and Office 365
• Experienced bookkeeper
• Ability to provide solutions, understand the job requirements, take proactive initiatives, and exhibit attention to detail.
• Has strong Math aptitude
• Graphic design candidates must present a portfolio showcasing proficiency in various design genres. The boss leans towards an old-school design style, and the designs will primarily serve religious purposes.

About the role:

We’re on a lookout for a Creative Content Quality Analyst who will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and enhancing the quality of our content.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Review the accuracy of content, verifying the information is up-to-date, and cross-referencing it with established standards and reference files.
• Ensure proper structure and consistency of copies in each piece of content.
• Thoroughly check grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors to maintain content quality.
• Ensure the tone of the content aligns with the established tone for each product.
• Confirm that images and multimedia elements are relevant to the content.
• Produce batch text copies based on a set copy for content creation.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and editors to address issues raised during quality assurance.
• Monitor the resolution of issues and ensure deadlines are met.

Minimum Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience

• Proficiency in research and the ability to handle creative projects.

Position: Graphic Designer

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm PST

Salary Range: $1,500/month

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and create designs, layouts, and typography using and protecting our core brand standards and guidelines.
•  Design mock-ups for a large variety of design projects – social media/digital posts and banners, print ads, print collateral, HTML emails, landing pages, blogs, trade show booths, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, infographics, video editing, and more.
• Proofread, packaged, and preflight final assets for release to internal and external partners.
• Collaborate and brainstorm with the marketing team on content development.
• Follow and protect the integrity of file standards, management, and organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging design tools/software to keep the brand current and competitive.
• Manage and curate digital assets such as photos, videos, icons, and logos.
• Guide best design practices and lead design training sessions for the marketing team.
• Track, analyze, and report the performance of various design projects, making recommendations for improvements when necessary.
• Ensure responsive design across all platforms, ensuring consistency and usability.
• Create and maintain a brand style guide that encapsulates design, typography, color, and content guidelines.

• A bachelor’s degree in design or marketing is preferable.
• 5+ years of experience in design, marketing, or advertising.
• Strong social media and online marketing skills.
• A portfolio showcasing diverse projects and demonstrating a straightforward design process.
• Full working knowledge of Google Drive, Canva, Adobe CC, Microsoft Office, GSuite, and other programs.
• Knowledge of web content management systems like WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace.
• An understanding of SEO, HTML, and CSS is a bonus.
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
• High level of knowledge in the printing process, including finishing.
• Experience with luxury clientele.
• Open to receiving constructive criticism and feedback to make necessary adjustments.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines and handle pressure without compromising work quality.
• A positive personality and excellent communication skills.
