About the Role

We are hiring a Power BI Consultant (Analyst) to build financial reporting and planning tools for our clients (finance teams).

The successful candidate will be able to balance three main categories of work:

Power BI and SQL: the candidate must have strong skills with Power BI (including DAX

and Power Query) and SQL, as they will be building and managing complex financial

reporting and planning solutions for our clients

Financial Analysis: the candidate must be strongly conversant with financial analysis;

they must be very familiar with common financial reports including income statements,

cash flow statements, balance sheets, accounts receivable/payable, and basic

accounting principles

Communication: the candidate must be able to communicate clearly as they will be

engaging with our US-based clients (verbally and written)

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with clients to collect and define requirements for financial reporting and planning solutions
• Building aesthetically appealing, accurate, effective financial reporting and planning solutions using Power BI (and the Microsoft Power Platform)
• Build data modeling solutions (in Power BI, Power Query, SQL) to solve client business reporting and planning needs
• QA Testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting Power BI solutions throughout the project lifecycle
• Demonstrating solutions to clients, incorporating feedback from clients, answering client questions, and guiding the client throughout the project lifecycle
• Reconciling data with source databases to ensure accuracy; reconciling calculations and measures
• Troubleshooting and managing issues with dashboards and similar tools; providing ongoing support for solutions we provide our customers

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Above average to excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Data Modeling.

Position: Business Analyst

Work Hours (Client): Mondays to Fridays, Flexible with 2 hours overlap Newfoundland Standard Time (GMT-3:30)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and support reporting needs for sales, account management and marketing department
• Explore automation opportunities for handling data processes
• Validate and ensure the accuracy of data
• Interpret and generate reports, conducting in-depth data research
• Proficient in handling data from diverse sources
• Skill in manipulating and organizing data sets
• Perform marketing analysis using collected data
• Lead and opportunity attribution work
• Event support on dealer lists
• Sourcing and cleansing of data for cold outreach
• Salesforce data quality
• Periodic dealer reporting
• Ad-Hoc data quality projects

• 2+ proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar field
• Proficiency in Salesforce with a strong understanding of reporting and dashboard functionalities
• Proficient in Google Sheets for data management and analysis
• Familiarity with Google Slides, preferred for presentation creation and delivery
• Proficiency in Power BI 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Salesforce Admin preferred

Salary: P80,000 – P100,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• At least 3+ years of experience in data analytics
• 3+ years advanced SQL techniques
• 2+ years experience in data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift or Snowflake)
• 2+ years experience in Python or a similar language
• 1+ years experience in data modeling tools such as DBT

What will you do?

• Help to develop the data analytics pipelines that aggregate data from over ten million companies around the world and feeds into an AI driven platform
• Design and implement data structures capable of modelling data from many sources and store it in such a way that our various engineering groups can properly ingest the data
