Your assignment

• You are the first point of contact in the store for supply chain partners with regards to quality-related topics;

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform detailed material takeoffs and prepare comprehensive estimates for all aspects of home construction projects.
• Research and evaluate costs of materials, equipment, and labor to ensure accurate project budgeting.
• Solicit and gather competitive quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Analyze and compare estimated costs against contracted pricing to ensure profitability.
• Assist in the preparation of bids for new contracts and support purchasing activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other team members to ensure project specifications and plans are accurately estimated.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in residential construction estimating or a similar role.
• Strong mathematical skills, including proficiency in algebra, geometry, and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to read and interpret construction specifications and plans.
• Proficiency in presenting proposals and project estimates to clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of current residential building codes and construction practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in estimating and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.

About the Role

As a Marketplace Content Associate, you will report directly to the Trust & Safety Associate Manager. You will perform content moderation in all areas related to Trust and Safety across all countries where Carousell operates. You will act as a generalist who will perform actions to support the content integrity of the platform, with internal and external user experience in mind. This is a full-time project-based third-party agency (12 months) role based in Ortigas, Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines.

• Perform manual moderation functions for incoming listings / users  from different sources of report.
• Ensure listings and users in our platform are compliant to our policies.
• Identify and act on suspicious or undesirable content or behavior in our platform.
• Perform moderation functions using different tools.
• Identify areas of improvement and suggest solutions to enhance User experience to keep the marketplace safe.
• Respond to tickets in relation to fraud, disputes, account enforcement, and authority requests.
