What will you do?
As Accountant you will responsible to provide high quality finance and accounting support services to the Offices and Shared Services Team located in the Philippines. The role will assist the PH Accounting Lead to manage all the accounting, collection, audit and tax reporting for the office, providing guidance on local process and procedure, managing the reporting, budgeting, and statutory audit coordination in compliance with Group guidelines.

- Responsible for bookkeeping, general accounting, and treasury functions. Treasury functions include but not limited to check preparation, fund transfers, inward remittance monitoring and bank reconciliation. General accounting functions include invoicing and manual issuance of receipts, voucher and monitoring of cash advances and its liquidations, payroll entries, manual journal preparation, posting and uploading of financial data.
- Facilitate and complete monthly closing activities, journal entries and adjusting journal entries.
- Ensure adequacy of monthly accruals of various costs and expenses for proper matching of revenues.
- Prepare regular monthly balance sheet account reconciliations with supporting analysis and schedules and proactively ensures resolution on open issues.
- Provides regular monthly analysis of profit and loss accounts and report on variances (actual vs budget)
- Assist in preparing annual budgets.
- Responsible for all internal and external audit engagements such as submission of the required schedules, reports, analytics and supporting documents.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual/year-end BIR tax filing and government statutory reporting requirement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines and to assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
- Monitoring and coordination of Daily/Weekly Bank Reconciliation
- Document Filing and Other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the PH Accounting Lead

What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following: Â
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role or general accounting/finance, taxation experience is an advantage.
- Has auditing background/experience
- Relevant Accounting qualification required and/or part way through studying CPA or CA qualification is an advantage
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Highly cooperative with the ability to collaborate in both internal and external parties.
