The Underwriting Service Specialist will help underwriters and actuaries analyze insurance submissions. They will review the applicants’ data (the “submission”); clean, organize and capture data such as class, historical exposures, loss runs, pricing, etc. to refine our target rates. This candidate will get a better understanding of how we underwrite and price business. 

• Review insurance submission documents and data for eligibility and completeness.
• Organize submission data into categories based on class, exposure, losses, pricing, etc.
• Work with E&S Casualty underwriters to learn key information we need to collect.
• Use the information collected from submissions and work with the Actuarial Department to refine target pricing strategy.

This person diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves basic and moderate technical problems. This person operates under defined processes and procedures and makes decisions regarding short-term priorities and work activities requiring interpretation of guidelines, policies and procedures. The Support Analyst will work closely with our Helpdesk, Desktop Technology, and ATS teams in supporting users in general IT problems.  This is a Night Shift role.

The developer is responsible for design, construction and unit testing of ServiceNow Forms. The candidate will collaborate with Business Analysts and SMES to perform detailed requirement analysis. The candidate will provide production implementation and post-production support for ServiceNow Forms and other User Experience aspects of ServiceNow.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, architecture, maintenance and enhancement of ServiceNow Forms.
• Create and maintain the current state of the ServiceNow platform architecture documentation
• Gather requirements, analyze the impact of new requirements, and configure the new requirements on the ServiceNow platform as per ITIL best practices.

• Assisting customers with the activation and setup of their product and services
• Validation of the customer’s entitlement for support (e.g. a client’s customer, account is current, level of support service entitlement)
• Logging all customer incidents upon receipt into the approved case management system;
