The Junior Account Manager’s responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

The Service Delivery Lead reports to the O2C Global Process Owner. The role will also work very closely with our, Commercial Team, Support Centre and relevant in-country teams. They required to have a strong focus on executing, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of the billing process across the region. In addition, identify improvement operations and work with our Transformation team and IT Teams to deliver key automation initiatives. Core deliverables are as below:

• Ensuring Vendors/Restaurants are paid correctly within the expected Service Level Agreement
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with stakeholders
• Support in-country teams with relevant insights with monthly reporting
• Managing and building a delivery team, either in-house or outsourced
• Responsible for researching, tracking, and resolving billing issues on a timely basis
• Ensuring the accuracy of invoices with master data before approving payment
• Review / Approve any Revenue recognition journals impacting regional financial and payments (if applicable)
• Continuous improvement of the billing process
• Monitor and ensure SLAs are met, issues escalated and prioritised (for both our internal and outsourced providers)
• Manage the governance process with stakeholders  (i.e. weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews)
• Support onboarding of any new countries into the regional office
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full spectrum of accounting function including General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Intercompany transactions, Fixed Assets, Bank Payment processing and Bank Reconciliations of an overseas business entity
• Monitor and manage outstanding accounts, proactively following up on overdue payments and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with in-country accounting service provider to ensure that daily transactions and month-end closing tasks are completed for the entity in a timely manner and Group submission timelines are met consistently.
• Responsible for accuracy completeness of monthly actual financial results, preparation of rolling forecasts, and submission of actuals and forecast into the Group financial reporting system as per Group timelines
• Provide in-depth analysis on variance between actuals, budget and forecast for monthly management reviews
• Prepare and submit monthly cash flow forecasts, ensuring accuracy and completeness in projections of incoming and outgoing cash flows.
• Liaise with outsourced service provider for a timely submission of local GST returns, completion of statutory audit and liaising with tax agent and & local tax authorities
• Support the regional tax team to ensure prompt submission of local withholding tax returns, and facilitate the completion of tax and transfer pricing audits
• Ensure compliance with IFRS reporting, Group accounting policies, audit, tax, and other statutory requirements
• Continually automate, streamline, and improve current reporting, operational and accounting processes to improve efficiency in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the centralisation of APAC countries, functioning as the Centre of Excellence (CoE), tasked with ensuring smooth transition within the timeline given.
• Support the expansion of the Regional R2R team from time to time
• Support SSC Service Delivery Lead in training accountants in performing their allocated tasks in a timely manner to meet Group’s deadlines.
• Participate and actively contribute to process standardisation and optimisation exercises.
• POC in handling any R2R related queries and problem-solving issues that may arise.
• Ensure overall smooth centralisation of each country’s finance function and meeting the required deadlines and deliverables.
• Ensure processes are compliant with local country regulations and internal controls / risk management measures.
• Project management, tracking progress and providing updates/ reports analysing finance specific KPIs and metrics.
• Act as a backup support as an R2R accountant as required. 
• Collaborate with key stakeholders involving local management and/or regional finance teams any queries that may arise from both the centralisation as well as day-to-day processes.
• Report deliverables and manage KPI targets.
• Support any new systems or process implementation as well as ensuring proper documentation of guidelines.
• Manage any ad-hoc tasks, financial topics and initiatives as required.

Responsibilities

• Support APAC market.

• Assist on executing daily, weekly, and monthly billing and invoicing and payments.

• Reconcile billing and payment discrepancies and ensuring data validity, accuracy, and completeness.

• Review and upload additional charges to contract partners.

• Billing team point person for vendor escalations.

• Support on month end closing activities.

• Proactively engage and collaborate with local & regional teams to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality

• Participate in further improvement and optimization of processes

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

• Be able to train team members

• Ensure that team's action items are resolved within SLA

• You will present the pre-selected candidates to hiring managers with a supporting summary that’s like an elevator pitch to convince the hiring manager (candidate profile based on screening, phone interview and tests).
• You will own end-to-end recruitment process for each role assigned, including but not limited to sourcing, pre-screening, coordinating assessments & interviews, conducting reference checks, extending offers & maintaining the relationship until the new joiner onboards (with candidate experience as the primary performance indicator).
• You will build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through various channels by utilizing LinkedIn, specialized job boards, social networks, networking initiatives.
• You will track critical recruitment data, produce regular and ad-hoc metrics and reporting on recruiting activities.
• You will update and maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system.
• You will get better at what you do every day as you are your own critic.
