Scope of Role

ITRS has a DevOps team that creates and supports its Continuous integration, build and similar systems. We are now building its next generation observability platform with the capability to collect, store and analyse the vast amount of data generated by banks and financial institutions.

Crucial to the adoption of our product is a streamlined client deployment and management process. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Report to our Engineering Manager and work with the Engineering team in developing a flexible DevOps infrastructure to help develop a data collection, storage and analytics platform and a user-centric application that enables the use and visualisation of data.
• Work with Product, Engineering, TechComms, and Support to define, document, and promote best practices around deployment and management of the system.
• Help clients and early adopters to deploy the stack.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking a dynamic and creative TESTING ENGINEER to join our team. As a Senior Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and assuring the required quality to help build and maintain our applications. You will work closely with our developers to define test scenarios of various components. You will work with product owners and UX designers to understand the features we are building and to improve product experience, quality, and regulatory compliance to ensure the development of quality software. Being part of a small team at an exciting start-up in a fast-paced environment, you will be able to contribute to team growth and development of the organisation and make an impact. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in refining user stories to ensure the acceptance criteria are clear. 
• Derive test scenarios to ensure acceptance criteria can be validated. 
• Execute test cases and be able to do thorough black box testing. 
• Define, maintain, and carry out regression testing. 
• Create automated test cases. 
• Create test plans and test reports. 
• When defects are found, they are clearly described with steps to reproduce. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 
• 3+ years of experience in Testing software applications. 
• 2+ years of experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium or Playwright. 
• Experience with Agile and secure software development methodologies. 
• Experience with writing automated end-to-end tests to assert the correct functional behaviour of the system. 
• Experience writing stress tests. 
• Experience writing stress integration tests. 
• Experience with Web API's 
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage time effectively. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Excellent verbal and written English and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.  
• High level of integrity and professionalism.

DomainTools is seeking a senior test developer with a focus on web-based user interfaces and REST APIs to join our Software QA team. We want you to research, develop, deliver, and manage cutting edge techniques in software quality assurance and test writing with automated deployments. You will closely collaborate with development and operations teams to provide quality and speed in continuous testing deployments.

Location: Remote - Philippines

Schedule: US Business Hours (Night Shift in the Philippines)

Compensation: 124,300 PHP per month

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests for web-based user interfaces and RESTful interfaces with focus on both conformance and performance.
• Write test statements and test plans based on requirement documents, documentation review, and SME interviews.
• Develop unit and system tests in python, shell scripts, C, and/or golang.
• Generate testing results reports.
• Document testing environments and testing procedures.
• Assist with maintenance of Jenkins automation system.
• Assist with installations and maintenance of Linux-based test farm.

Must Have Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience with software development with focus on quality assurance and testing.
• Python programming with focus on test development: 2+ years
• Experience with pytest framework.
• Experience with Selenium or automated web browser testing.
• Unix command line and shell scripting experience: 1+ years
• Linux or BSD development environment: 1+ years
• Continuous Integration automation experience, such as with Jenkins: 1+ years
• GIT or equivalent source code revision control experience: 1+ years

Pluses (Desirable Skills):

• C, Golang, or PHP development experience.
• Development or administration experience with Internet protocols and services such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP, or BGP.
• Experience with Openstack API.
