About the Role:
In this exciting role, you'll be the right-hand person to our CEO, Aaron. You'll wear many hats, providing essential support across various functions, including operations, business development, sales, hiring, and marketing. Your key focus will be on freeing up Aaron's time to focus on strategic initiatives by handling a variety of administrative, logistical, and project management tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Powerhouse:
- Manage client’s email inbox, including drafting responses, scheduling meetings, and maintaining a clutter-free system.
- Oversee back-office tasks, including bookkeeping (if possible) and expense management.
- Be a whiz at file organization and management, ensuring everything is easily accessible.
- Assist with tasks like travel arrangements and vendor selection.
Business Development & Sales Partner:
- Source and qualify leads using Upwork/Fiverr and B2B account-based marketing techniques.
- Prepare for conferences and client meetings by reaching out to contacts in advance.
- Support the sales team with CRM data management and call follow-up.
- Explore creative ways to build relationships and nurture leads in the pipeline.
Marketing Maven (Bonus Points):
- Assist with social media marketing and managing email marketing platforms like Mailchimp and Zapier.
- Conduct SEO research and explore online advertising opportunities.
Hiring Rockstar:
- Manage the hiring process, including setting up inboxes and candidate screening.
Team Player:
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, providing support and taking on tasks as needed.
- At least 3 years of solid experience as an Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff for US start-up companies
- Has experience in using QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and Zapier
- Working knowledge in using lead generation tools like Apollo.io and the like
- Bonus points for experience with B2B sales prospecting, marketing automation tools, and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms
- A superstar organizer with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate, concisely, and with structure.
- A data-driven and results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "get it done" attitude.
