Primary Purpose:

Work closely with project team members and the business to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements and solution design

Work with IT and business and 3rd party stakeholders to implement quality and defect free changes into IT systems

Use their business, functional and system knowledge and testing industry experience and knowledge of OW standards to provide input into testing strategy. 

Develops test plans and scenarios to meet the testing strategy and scope.  Prepare for and executes all identified test cycles.  Document testing results, and record and track defects to successful resolution.  Communicate testing status.

Support business UAT testers in the completion of UAT on larger projects.  On smaller projects co-ordinate and lead UAT.  Work with functional and development teams to communicate and resolve defects.

Responsibilities include:

o   Develop, update and maintain testing standards and procedures

o   Provide testing estimates based on requirements

o   Prepare Test Case Scenarios and documentation

o   Prepare test data based on requirements/solution design

o   Support developers and functional analysts with unit testing

o   Execute test scripts for all phases of testing

o   Prepare and deliver solutions training activities to business users where required

o   Work with the business teams to ensure full User Acceptance testing is done prior to business sign-off for deployment.  

o   Keep track of any defects arising from the testing or post-go-live, prioritise defects with the business teams and work with technical teams to resolve

o   Input into test reporting on larger projects. On smaller projects prepare test reporting and communicate status to stakeholders

o   Work with the appropriate business and IT teams to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process

o   Participate in the release control process (when application changes are transferred from build to test) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements

o   Inform/escalate to appropriate team/s of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget or quality of build changes or the testing process

o   Participate in the deployment and production verification process (when application changes are deployed to production and go through production verification testing and hypercare support) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements

• At least 5 years I.T. experience

• Retail industry highly recommended
• At least 3-5 years testing experience mandatory

The HR Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing various HR processes to support, standardize and strengthen the Reinsurance and Investments segments, and ensure they are aligned with the long-term goals of the HR team.  The Operations Analyst will interface as required to support Head of HR, the segments’ HRBPs and the People Operations team and other Arch Capital Group’s HR COEs ensuring that Arch Reinsurance and Investments are appropriately represented on Group initiatives and programs involving HRIS or other platforms.

Job Description

The Payments Systems Analyst provides technical and operational support relating to the payments systems of the business, including the Payment Gateway, Points and Pay by Account (PBA). This role involves configuration, troubleshooting, and in-depth analysis of EonX payment systems. Key areas of responsibility include detailed documentation, defect investigation, fraud mitigation, and providing high-level technical support for payment gateways and PBA services to ensure efficient and secure payment operations. The role works with the Payments tribe and collaborates with stakeholders across the business to support these needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the setup and ongoing management of Payment Gateway and Points integrations in lower environments, ensuring thorough documentation of configuration processes and requirements for production configuration.
• Perform troubleshooting and data analysis across lower environments and production systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Analyse operational data to assist with processing and resolution of operational requests (eg. refunds, funds transfers).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop, set up, validate, and document system configuration requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Engage actively in fraud detection and prevention strategies, contributing to a secure payment environment.
• Undertake detailed investigations into defects related to the Payment Gateway and Pay by Account (PBA), focusing on identifying root causes and coordinating appropriate follow-up actions.
• Participate in incident responses related to Payments Systems.
