A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

• Oversight of call centre performance with key focus on collection targets and reducing delinquency on a receivables portfolio of over $50m
• Coaching and mentoring Team Leaders reporting to the role, with an emphasis on facilitating their development and their ability to generate improvements in team quality, efficiency and effectiveness
• Modelling and actively promoting a culture of innovation, challenging the status quo to ensure the business continues to grow and evolve
• Effectively leading the team with a collaborative approach that promotes team synergy and improves staff engagement
• Overseeing operational systems and processes, while actively seeking opportunities for innovation to drive achievement of business objectives
• Anticipating and tracking operational risks and trends to provide strategic solutions, optimising processes and their execution
• Raising and addressing issues and conflicts, removing barriers, resolving issues of medium complexity involving stakeholders and escalating to appropriate level when required
• Managing day to day operations within the Collections department, including recruitment, training, development, engagement, retention, performance of the team, and any changes to the operating model as required
• Effectively managing budgets and resource schedules
• Together with AU leadership, playing a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and effectively driving change management and process improvement initiatives
• Completing reasonability testing and information validation prior to circulating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders
• Working closely with the management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and regulatory/compliance functions are being properly executed
• Seeking and responding to feedback with prompt and appropriate actions to deliver improvement
• Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless business execution, reinforcing positive morale, and upholding company values
• Overseeing and reporting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics, providing thorough analysis and subsequent action planning
• Establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and acting as point of contact for IT, BI, CC&OE, HR and other support functions

• Strong leadership and influencing skills, with demonstrated experience in developing and leading high performing teams
• Minimum 5 years’ management experience, running a critical business function with multiple teams, products and operating requirements. Process transformation experience is required.

This role manages operational efficiency and assures the daily operations of the store ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

• Responsible for generating and analyzing daily sales reports, OPEX, P&L, and Inventory Management.
• Coordinate marketing strategies by using/ analyzing the latest trends to achieve targets based on the branch performance.
• Acquire good leadership skills to handle all concerns from subordinates to customers and provide necessary trainings needed by the frontliners.
• Handles internal and external stakeholders to ensure profitability of assigned brands and mitigating operational expenses.
• Supervise specific brand operations assigned by the Operations Head.
• Responsible for financial reports and competition analysis based on targets set by finance.
• Preparation and provide daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports on a timely manner.
• Understand sales opportunities of company-owned and franchise stores.
• Coordinating with the different departments regarding different concerns in the operations.
• Acquire best practices for training, seminars, and other related trends for the operational improvement of our company-owned and franchise stores.
• Proactively communicating any comments, concerns, and suggestions.
• Process improvement and process management.
• Propose, plan, and implement strategies that would complement new and existing programs of the brand to reach KPI.
• Spearhead opening of new stores. Process CTO (Clearance to Operate) in coordination with other departments.

Job Description

The Product Manager (Payments) is responsible for managing and providing expert knowledge and technical expertise for specific initiatives and functional areas within the Payments vertical including Pay by Account (PBA). This role is integral in shaping product direction and developing key product features, supported by the Senior Product Manager, working with input from client, user-facing and internal functional workshops. The role is focused on functional and technical aspects of the product with an emphasis on creating, refining, and realizing product vision and capabilities. The Product Manager is responsible for crafting user stories, supporting testing phases, and serving as a subject matter expert (SME) in QA processes, as well as facilitating new or existing product integrations. The Product Manager also works with the Delivery Lead to provide input to Change Requests, Statements of Work, exceptions, and solution proposals. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and own features across the Payments portfolio from concept to delivery, working with the business and Senior Product Manager to create and drive features from feature brief through to delivery.
• Work closely with relevant stakeholders such as data, DevOps, finance, customer support to inform product requirements. 
• Actively participate in and document outcomes and actions from product workshops.
• Collaborate and act as a subject matter expert on the development of product documentation.
• Synthesize quantitative and qualitative inputs to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives and client needs.
• Develop and write user stories and documentation for new features or improvements.
• Provide testing support and serve as a subject matter expert for the QA team in new feature development.
• Offer subject matter expertise for the support of new or existing functionality implementation for internal and external stakeholders, working with Payments Systems Analyst to understand gaps and propose product solutions.
• Analyze feedback, refine the product backlog, and conduct market research and analysis for the PBA Overlay Service (PBAOS) operational team.
• Collaborate with Delivery Lead with input into Change Requests, Statements of Work, exceptions, and solution proposals.
• Understand and respond to changes to the regulatory and compliance landscape that impacts payments systems.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• Knowledge of API-driven product management and development, preferably related to Payments systems.
• Strong ability to document and articulate outcomes from workshops and meetings.
• Experience in creating product artefacts such as feature briefs, LEAN canvases and solution option analyses.
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation, including API specifications and technical user stories.
• Ability to provide effective testing support and subject matter expertise to QA teams.
• Strong capability in supporting the implementation of new or existing functionalities for a range of stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in collating and analysing feedback, refining product backlogs, and conducting market research and analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
