Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Go-to-Market Planning:
Spearhead the development, execution, and optimization of AirAsia's go-to-market strategy. Take end-to-end accountability for commercial delivery into the market, meticulously planning and executing every aspect of the marketing journey.
Collaborative Team Engagement:
Work closely with regional and local integrated marketing teams, social media specialists, digital marketers, and creative minds to ensure seamless alignment of route marketing strategies with the overarching AirAsia Strategy. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages cross-functional teamwork and synergy.
Product Positioning and Messaging:
Innovate on product messaging to establish AirAsia's new offerings as distinct and unrivaled in the market. Develop a unique selling point that resonates with the target audience, setting our products apart from the competition.
Channel Development and Optimization:
Create and manage a dynamic marketing calendar and distribution strategy.
Collaborate with the Business Development team to establish external channel strategies, maximizing reach and impact.
Creative Buzz Building:
Utilize creative channels to maximize promotional opportunities for AirAsia, generating a consistent level of "buzz" around the brand. Implement cost-efficient strategies to ensure the brand remains top-of-mind in the ever-evolving market.
Enhanced Consumer Experience:
Develop and monitor funnel strategies to optimize the consumer purchase experience. Implement conversion strategies that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
Continuous Collaboration with Product Team:
Maintain an ongoing dialogue with the Product team, ensuring marketing strategies are aligned with product enhancements to enhance the overall user experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Must have 3-5 years work experience in Marketing Lead role or anything related to Business Administration, Product Development, Advertising and Public Relations
Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and technologies, including web, social media, and email marketing
Experience in event/trade show management
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing automation software
Experience in any of the following: airline, e-commerce, start-up or platform is a plus!
