The finance analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, recording, documentation, and dissemination of complex data sets. The candidate will process and reconcile  accounts and general ledger related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, customer service and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The candidate will provide support and be part of the US Finance team.

• Support the Finance and Accounting related activities and operational matters with financial impacts, including periodic reporting, cash funding, business updates, invoice processing, ad hoc reporting, cash management, etc.
• Work collaboratively and develop strong relationships within the Business Unit, with operational executives, and with managers.
• Research and resolve premium, claims, and cash discrepancies between Program Administrators and/or Arch policy issuance systems and Arch Accounting System
• Reconcile financial results on a periodic basis (monthly and quarterly) for both P&L and Balance Sheet in order to validate the accuracy of financially reported results.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure all transactions have been properly recorded.
• Perform financial analysis, general ledger account reconciliations, and generate key reports.
• Utilize information from third parties and Business Units to report financial results and create and record technical journal entries needed to support the accounting for the business units.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual Statutory reports.
• Provide assistance, reconciliations and other support as required for internal and external auditors.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as required by the department or other business units.

The role is responsible for coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure that the scope, schedule, budget, and resources are aligned with contractual requirements and service-level agreements. The role is also responsible for developing strategies to mitigate, avoid, transfer, or accept risks based on assessments using internal software, as well as preparing and communicating risk reports to stakeholders. The role will be reporting to the Project Controls Manager in Manila.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate with the project manager to ensure that all procedures are in place to meet contractual requirements.
• Assist in the development and assessment of the reasonableness of the proposed schedule durations, cost loading, activity coding, and work breakdown structure (WBS).
• Support the development and detailed review of critical path method (CPM) schedules (medium-to-large).
• Assist in the identification and analysis of project schedule variances and recommend associated corrective action.
• Review contractor schedules (Baseline and progress updates) in Primavera P6 using CPM, provide comments, prepare associated reports and recommendations per contract requirements, and produce scheduling management reports.
• Review schedule status, update master program schedules, and provide management with input on contractor and subcontract performance.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as earned value, cost and schedule performance, estimate to completion, and project end dates.
• Perform schedule recovery and impact; produce schedule impact analysis for modifications and produce schedule fragnet for inclusion in change order documentation.
• Perform time impact/claims analysis and prepare reports and recommendations during project execution.
• Analyze contractor critical path method (CPM) schedules for delays, inefficiencies providing dispositions due to site conditions, inefficiencies, and delays.
• Participate in and at times lead project planning and scheduling review meetings.
• Proactively identify potential risks and evaluate the likelihood and impact using quantitative and qualitative methods (Monte Carlo Simulation, OPRA, or other Risk Management Software)
• Address critical and unique issues with the guidance of the Team Lead for timely resolution of escalated issues.
• Perform complex tasks in compliance with service level agreements, processes, policies, procedures, and SOX & internal controls.
• Work with Team Lead to develop process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise to junior members of the team in completing projects and performing (sub-process) activities.

Responsibilities (how we will measure success) 

• As a Power BI developer, you will support the business by developing dashboards using Power BI based on requirements with linked content, drill-down views, nesting parameters, and other features that can be leveraged from the reporting platform Knowledge of other BI / Reporting tools. 

• You will work within the Group Analytics Team to serve functions based globally across The Group.  

• You will be involved in reviewing and challenging requirements, designing end-to-end reporting to enable the tool to be used in a self-service manner as far as possible  

• You’ll work in an agile way to ensure the highest priority areas are focused on, and we are meeting our internal and potentially external client needs  

• You’ll interact with colleagues across the business to ensure requirements are met and we are building the tool in a scalable manner with an eye on the future  

• You'll also assist in the analysis of underlying issues and their root causes, identifying available options for consideration such as new developments  

• You will be a strong communicator able to articulate issues being faced and setting expectations in terms of time to delivery requests  

• You will support the wider group reporting enhancements & requirement deployment in Power BI when not supporting our task management tool, ensuring exposure to a wide range of teams and requirements  

• You will also work in collaboration with the other members of the Group Analytics Team in establishing the value of any changes requested to ensure that they are in support of and/or not in direct conflict with any wider initiatives being run locally or across the group.  

Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis) 

• Develop Power Bi to ensure we have a minimum viable product in terms of reporting in place  

• Investigate operational issues or problems with reports  

• Support documentation and video recording that supports training of new users on the reporting elements of the tool  

• Understand current data sources & existing reporting data models vis-à-vis current reporting requirements and recommend improvements or adjustments when applicable  

• Present and defend solution design decisions. All design decisions should be based on the overall future roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles.  

• Prepare or update existing reporting specifications, users guides, and other reporting related documentations  

• Develop & Publish reporting visualisations using the prescribed tools, and perform Data Quality Review  

• Document requirements and facilitate discussions on priorities from the tool  

• Communicate the benefits of your changes to the user base and monitor usage of the tool and reports to help assess focus areas for future

The business testing team manages the testing of various network partner markets as per route spec and testing of multiple client’s onboarding workflows into Visa/VPL environments. What the Implementation Analyst does at Visa:

This position serves as Visa Project Manager for endpoint implementation services provided to Clients (Banks).  This is an individual contributor responsible for solving complex problems and taking a broad perspective to identify innovation solutions.  This role serves to gather and document project requirements while providing client consultative guidance on Visa regulations, fees, features and functionality.

In this role, you are expected to:

• Provide project management support to Visa client institutions and processors in assigned region to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
• Coordinate directly with customers to understand endpoint / card program set up requirements and facilitate endpoint connectivity / card program installations, conversions and maintenance requests without customer impact.

This role is accountable for activities related to Quality checks (Acid tests, Primary testing of data, Retailer Accreditation) from receipt of the data to data loading into the system for  data sources that Nielseniq receives. Data Analysts will be responsible for onboarding \ setting up, upload and monitoring data (all Data types ) into the ingestion platform \ other input platforms. This role is also responsible for monitoring, cleansing, classification & verification of received data, managing metadata, Troubleshooting, and handling Client queries. 

Quality Testing: 

• Support all sourcing Teams, operations and Product Leadership with any requests around data quality testing for new / prospective Suppliers
• Run Quality checks and provide feedback (Such as Acid test, Retailer Accreditation / other defined quality protocols) on sample data as requested. 

Data Onboarding: 

• Understand the data format agreed with the Supplier as per the contract and complete set up on Ingestion/ any other Input platform
• Data cleaning, verification and classification as needed
• Upload of received files to platform as needed
• Troubleshooting with the Supplier in case data is not in agreed format or any other issues with data upload such as file issues ( type/ location/ special characters etc.) 

BAU Operations: 

• Create procedures to support ongoing BAU Ops

• Support opportunity entry and updating in the company’s opportunity tracking system.
• Support Go/No Go preparations, forms, and gathering information and process, as directed by the Project Manager.
• Review project controls requirements of RFP/opportunity. Provide or obtain project control support for proposal deliverables, as appropriate for project complexity.
• Understand proposal pricing approach and support as appropriate. Develop basic capabilities with company standard pricing tools and support as directed.

Planning phase

• Coordinate with PM/Project team/contract administration in coordinating the contract review process for new contracts, modifications, and job closures. Understand and support the insurance verification process as necessary.
• Develop familiarity with support review of contract risk types and methods to identify and support the management of risk on projects.
• Understand revenue recognition on projects.
• Investigate/elevate financial project issues such as segmentation, work at risk, and revenue recognition during project setup.
• Review scope definition documents and support PM with development of Work breakdown structure development (and maintenance during execution), to support proper job setup for cost and schedule development, progress tracking, risk analysis, and client billing.
• Assist in preparing, updating, and monitoring schedules and preparing status reports and staffing curves, in alignment with the scope of work and resources, including subcontractors and consultants, planned to execute scope.

What an Implementation Analyst, Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) does at Visa:

Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS) is a key business pillar in Visa that leads commercial card and money movement solutions and platforms for commercial clients – from micro, small and mid-sized companies to large corporations, government institutions and other payment enablers across their journey. The CMS Client Service team is responsible for closely partnering with our clients and internal cross-functional teams to successfully deliver CMS solutions and platforms, ranging from new client implementations and onboarding to business-as-usual support, consultation and client success.

This role serves as a hybrid project and implementation manager and subject matter expert to clients (Financial Institutions or third-party technology platforms) who have signed up for Visa Commercial and Money Movement Solutions’ suite of products. This is an individual contributor responsible for managing project delivery and taking a broad perspective to identify innovation solutions to meet client needs.  This role serves to gather and document Visa CMS clients’ requirements while providing system implementation, solution delivery, training and consultation on our solutions.

In this role, you are expected to:

• Provide implementation and project management support to Visa client institutions, processors and third-party platforms in the AP region to ensure customer expectations are successfully met.

• Coordinate directly with clients to understand product set up requirements and facilitate product configurations, conversions and maintenance requests without negative client impact.

• As a subject matter expert, acquire and maintain a good understanding of supported solutions to train and consult customers and internal stakeholders on optimum delivery and adoption of our products.

• Be the voice of the customer - Represent clients’ feedback, enhancement requests, system or operational requirements as well as negotiate and manage expectations internally and externally.

• Prepare and maintain detailed project scope documents, project plans, status reports, and issue logs across client communications and other channels including Microsoft Dynamics, Teams, and SharePoint.

• Be client-centric, build and enhance positive working relationships with key Visa client institutions and technology partners.

• Responsible for own workflow assignments and must be able to take the initiative to resolve problems and meet deadlines with moderate supervision.

• Stay current with industry and client trends and maintain a strong knowledge of Visa products and services.

• While the role is based in Pasay, Manila, you will deliver services to clients across the Asia Pacific region.

What you will need:

We are looking to hire candidates who have already accumulated the relevant skills and experience. You will be curious about the payments industry, be results-driven and passionate about our clients. As a candidate you should have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Implementation, Project Management or Technical Support in Payments or Technology industry.

• Functional implementation experience, business analysis, testing, training or technical support experience in a client-facing role.

• Ability to apply project management methodology to manage projects with moderate supervision.

• Experience with API project implementations and technology such as HTML, JSON, XML, SQL along with tools such as SOAP UI and Postman is a fundamental requirement.

• Experience with data-interfacing projects to downline platforms for reporting and reconciliation of commercial card data.

• Ability to quickly understand technical documents such as client facing guides and messaging specifications.

• Ability to break down problems into solvable components and utilize existing support mechanisms to resolution.

• Good verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, attention to detail and ability to interact professionally and confidently with internal and external stakeholders.

• Good knowledge of standard MS Office tools (E.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.)

• Role is based in Pasay, Manila.

What will also help:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Technology or equivalent.

• Knowledge in credit card processing and card processing systems is highly desired.

• Experience working with expense and workflow management as well as financial solutions such as SAP Concur, Oracle iExpense, SAP Hana, Coupa, etc. is highly desired.

• Experience with commercial card solutions such as Central Travel Account, Virtual cards is an added advantage.

• Previous experience in roles such Software Development, Technical Support or Presales is a plus.

• Ability to converse or read Chinese, Japanese or Korean is a plus.

• Experience with Cash Management solutions, fund transfers and SWIFT is a plus.

Projects you will be a part of:

As part of the team, you will get the opportunity to work on strategically important projects for clients and Visa.

• Working with the hub, regional and global teams to expand B2B cards payment business across the AP region.

• Supporting and working with regional and global client delivery and client services counterparts to deliver a seamless client experience.

• Key focus on commercial card related solutions with opportunities to diversify into money movement solutions where feasible.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
