• Familiar with construction contracting and the scheduling implications of contract terms.
• Read and understand client contracts and subcontracts; particularly as related to scope, schedule, budget, and risk. Coordinate with project manager/lead to ensure all procedures are in place to meet contractual requirements
• Able to identify and assist in analysis of project schedule variances. Identifies and analyzes schedule variances and recommends associated corrective action.
• Responsible for data collection for schedule updating, analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.
• Able to cost load, resource load schedules, and perform schedule risk analysis.
• Reviews contractor schedules (Baseline and progress updates) in Primavera P6 using critical path method (CPM), provides comments, prepares associated reports and recommendations per contract requirements, produces scheduling management reports.
• Performs analysis of Primavera P6 schedules, costs, cash flow and variance analysis reports.
• Reviews schedule status, updates master program schedules and provides management with input on contractor and subcontract performance.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as earned value, cost and schedule performance, estimate to completion, and project end dates.
• Performing schedule recovery and impact; producing schedule impact analysis for modifications; producing schedule fragnet for inclusion in change order documentation.
• Performing time impact / claims analysis and prepare reports and recommendations during project execution.
• Analyzing contractor critical path method (CPM) schedules for delays, inefficiencies providing dispositions due to site conditions, inefficiencies, and delays.
• Knowledgeable of scope control and change management and has demonstrated ability to incorporate directed changes into schedule baseline and review/recommendations of consequential impact.
• Familiar with cost analysis and forecasting, cashflow reporting as it relates to planning and scheduling.
• Participates in and at times leads project planning and scheduling review meetings.
• BA/BS + 8 years of related experience in project controls or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 Professional (v5.0 and above), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
• Prior experience working with an engineering, construction management or related field with 8+ years of relevant project controls/scheduling experience.
• Detailed knowledge of project planning and critical path method scheduling, practices, and earned value.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Construction, or Engineering preferred
