Purpose of the role

The Database Administrator will assist the database operations team in the implementation, configuration, security, maintenance, and performance tuning/monitoring of the Amadeus database tier as assigned.

The focus of this role is to ensure the availability and performance of existing and future enterprise applications using Oracle, MySQL, Mongo, Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres and other emerging database technologies. • Plan, create, implement, monitor, and maintain backup solutions via automation, as well as perform backup restore validation tasks.                 

• Design, build, maintain database monitoring solutions for 100's of databases in the multiple terabyte range across data platforms.

About the ideal candidate:

As Accounts Payable Support,

You will be providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organisation. Your role is to complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. You will also highlight the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.

• Take phone calls from suppliers.
• Prepare AP reports from Pronto.
• Prepare weekly payment forecast.

As a Customer Support Representative, you will be assisting Authorize.Net merchants and partners with their payment gateway accounts through inbound phone calls.

• Respond to incoming merchant and partner requests quickly, proficiently and professionally while meeting specific key performance indicators

• Answer merchant questions and resolve problems related to billing, account management, website integration, connectivity methods and other technical issues
