Purpose of the role

The Database Administrator will assist the database operations team in the implementation, configuration, security, maintenance, and performance tuning/monitoring of the Amadeus database tier as assigned.

As a Product Support Representative at FIS, you will work directly with our clients to provide detailed support for our products. You will handle customer inquiries and address any issues or concerns they have regarding the operation, maintenance, or application of our products.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve support issues, such as address changes, order processing, warranty, billing, and payments.
• Provide comprehensive product support by researching and addressing client issues.
• Troubleshoot problems related to equipment or software applications and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Document customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and development.

• At least 5 years of experience working in application or software support for financial services products (banking and trading applications).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Organizational and time management abilities.
• The capability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience in supporting clients using software solutions.

• Knowledge or experience in private banking operations.
• Experience in electronic trading or finance-related fields.
• Business analysis or software product implementation experience.
• Familiarity with FIS products.

The primary responsibility is troubleshooting problems with software for IT end users, you are the first-level contact for customers and you’ll give them step-by-step instructions to help solve their problems using various diagnostic tests.
