As a Business Analyst (BA) at SGS, you will be a vital member of our Information Technology (IT)Corporate team. Collaborating closely with business and function stakeholders,
you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing their processes and systems.
You will also play a key role in our demand management process, providing analysis of business requirements and insights into the complete backlog of demands, improvement opportunities, requested changes, required upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives. When required, you will also support Service Managers by offering information and clarifications related to functional service requests.

Responsibilities:
Understand the business, assess diverse stakeholder needs, and translate these into well-documented requirement.
Collaborate with business and function stakeholders to understand and improve processes and systems.
Backlog Management, Develop high-level and detailed functional designs
, define acceptance criteria, review testing plans, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Assess needs and demands from multiple stakeholders and prioritize requirements.
Analyze and document applications and business requirements, create epics and user stories.
Support deployment and rollout plans.
Contribute to demand management by analyzing business requirements.
Provide support to Service Managers for functional service requests.
 

To provide technical expertise across IT operations including level 1, 2 and 3 Incident, Problem and Change management and conducting day to day system administration and maintenance tasks to ensue the smooth operation of IT systems and services.

• Conduct Incident, Problem and Change management across L1, 2 and 3
• Interface with the regional service desk and regional/global support groups and suppliers.
• Conduct day to day IT system administration and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and services
• Support the existing IT infrastructure including network, server, print, backups and related components including design, deployment, changes and decomissions.
• Liase and coordinate solutions/resolutions with 3rd party IT suppliers and managed support groups
• Update and maintain operational documentation
• Working with cloud technologies (Azure) as well as on-prem deployments
• Interact with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Work alongside local IT management and technical staff as a point of escalation for technical issues
• Lead or contribute toward IT projects aligned with group strategy
• Follow all security procedures in alignment with group strategy and policy

As a Senior Project Technician, you will be able to work independently on formwork design planning and provide support to sales on proposals and pitching solutions to clients.

• Maintaining regular contact with customers and the sales organization as a problem solver and discussion partner
• Working with sales to produce AutoCAD drawings, Revit formwork models using Doka formwork systems during the proposal stage of construction projects and finalize the solution to be used for actual jobsites
• Ensuring that the drawings and solutions indicate the proper use of Doka forming equipment and that the drawings represent safe, economical and efficient designs
• Performing static analysis and prepare specifications for deliveries
• Providing material lists for quotations to Sales and Operations team for shipments to the site
• Participating in staff training programs ensuring continuous training is provided in calculations, formwork, product knowledge, computer systems/software applications, etc.
• Supporting the Sales Team by determining appropriate formwork solutions that meet the customers’ needs (economically, and in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines)
• Scheduling projects to meet the required deadlines
• Ensuring that work is designed with available inventory and in adherence with contractual obligations
• Ensuring that the policies, procedures, programs, standards of performance and compliance are adhered to
• Providing technical directions
