• Manage the development, updating, and monitoring of schedules and preparing status reports and staffing curves, in alignment with scope of work and resource, including subcontractors and consultants, planned to execute scope.

Execution phase

• Integrate cost and schedule data/baseline with company’s enterprise system, to facilitate Projects financial goals, or oversee this effort.
• Develop key deliverables in preparation for project reviews.
• Review actual costs and commitments, coordinate cost adjustments, and review coding accuracy.
• Identify cost (and schedule as needed) variances, investigate root cause, and develop/execute a correction action plan, as discussed with PM and Project team.
• Lead effort for tracking budget, project costs, labor hours, schedule updates, installed quantities and progress measurements for work to include direct hire and subcontracted work.
• Maintain the planning/scheduling updates, applying engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships. Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts.
• Analyze, evaluate, and forecast current status against an established baseline schedule. Assess the impacts of design or construction changes and schedule slippages. Report schedule status to all levels of project and company management as well as to the Client.
• Accumulate and access historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning, forecasting, and Estimate at complete development.
• Measure progress and review performance trends. Exposure to progressive performance data and associated concepts and principals.
• Prepare reports, graphs, and charts, to communicate project status.
• Proficiency with company’s financial systems, processes and procedures such as segmentation, work at risk and revenue recognition requirements and processes and be able to align with project status and assist in analyzing and using financial data to identify key project issues.

• Assist the Project Manager with reporting on accounts receivables and unbilled issues as assigned.

Closeout phase

• Review project scope and determine all contractual deliverables have been met, discuss with PM.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The IT and Financial Operations Auditor role is part of the Audit Services Group (ASG) which evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of AECOM’s systems of internal controls that guide company activities toward accomplishing key business objectives. This role is primarily responsible for executing ASG’s information technology and financial operations compliance, and advisory and assurance projects globally. This role will be based in Manila, Philippines.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Participate in planning, scoping, and execution of risk-based IT and Financial Operations assurance and advisory projects including SOX 404 controls testing in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and ASG standards.
• Perform test of design and operating effectiveness of IT and FinOps controls.
• Effectively communicate audit results to management.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of IT, financial, operational, and compliance processes and controls.
• Work with stakeholders to develop action plans that address root cause of findings.
• Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge in IT and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of audit programs and recommendations.

 Auditing and Compliance:

• In collaboration with project team, manage the entire lifecycle of identified nonconformances including detection, to characterization, designing and implementing correction measures, checking  nonconformance correction, and closing the noncompliance event.

 Documentation and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including manuals, procedures, and records.
• Report on quality performance metrics, non-conformances, and corrective/preventive actions to project stakeholders and senior management.

 Continuous Improvement:

• Drive initiatives to enhance project quality and operational efficiency through root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
