Reporting Line

§ This position reports to the Regional Operations Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities

§ Generally in-charge of maintaining the safety, quality management system and for ensuring the region’s compliance to the Global Business policies and procedures, Corporate Governance, Health and Safety, Operational Integrity, other required management system standards, applicable laws, and approved customer-related commitments.

Specific Responsibilities

§ Ensures compliance to the Group and national policies including, but not limited to the maintenance of the Quality Management System

§ Monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, and accepted engineering practices

§ Develops, maintains, and performs weekly update on program implementation of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).

§ Acts as the Regional Representative on Health, Safety and Environment.

§ Acts as the Assistant Travel Manager of the region assigned.

§ Operating to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity.

§ Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.

§ Oversee the regional management of the OSH program in coordination with the OSH Committee.

§ Shall assist the Supervisor in implementing Operational Integrity (OI) Policies and Procedure.

§ Shall assist the Supervisor to monitors all health, safety and environment activities to ensure that the agreed safety and loss prevention standards are fully implemented and properly followed.

§ Shall assist the Supervisor in accident investigation and reports, assist on recommendation and corrective actions with the close out date and follows up the same to ensure implementation & effectiveness of the corrective action to avoid recurrence of the same.

§ Acts as the Project Representative on Health and Safety Environment (HSE) matters for coordinating and conducting weekly site inspections.

§ Monitoring the identified weaknesses in current procedures and areas of improvements, to ensure improvement plans are implemented.

§ Perform other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

§ Complies with the Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Energy (QHSEE) policies and supporting objectives including, but not limited to:

o Demonstrating strong obligation to SGS QHSEE policies, procedures and work instructions by actively participating in meetings, projects and events, completes required training, intervenes in unsafe situations, refuses unsafe work, and complies fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to HSEE

o Reacting appropriately and immediately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace

o Reports all incidents, including near misses and hazards, that may affect the achievement of QHSEE objectives in accordance with SGS Incident Reporting and Management requirements

o Maintaining awareness of the safety and health related hazards and environmental aspects and proposes action plans to control the risks to immediate superior or QHSEE Coordinators

o Actively participating in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS management

o Fulfilling the requirements needed in the success of the QHSEE Management System

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• 4 - 8  years experience in related field preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Intermediate knowledge in using MS Project preferred
• Have financial acumen and experience in managing/controlling project budgets up to USD 5M preferred
• Presentation skills required; must demonstrate clear, concise articulation of proposed plans
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to effectively prioritize; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and conclude a project
• Willing to work US hours in a hybrid set up ( BGC)

The Client Service Rep is responsible for providing support to clients of Compliance Services.  The Compliance Services team provide services to the pharmaceutical and med device industries.  Work including Transparency Support and Outsourcing, Grants Management, HCP Screening and Tiering, and HCP Contracting.  Our teams need to provide service that is very accurate, timely, and with good customer service.

The SIP Specialist supports our daily Operations work by creating inspection protocols and ensuring they are always delivered to our front-line inspection teams on time. This position will report directly to the Protocol Leader.

Tasks will include but not be limited to: Perform insurance management activities for the Italian and Spain Sales Office Portfolio which includes: Receiving and processing of daily Credit Limit requests (both new and existing - for increase) in Atradius and COFACE platformsCommunicating the outcome/ result of application requests to the Sales Team; and endorsing for required approvals based on the latest Credit Strategy MatrixLiaising and/or requesting for additional investigation with the Insurance Provider (e.g. reasons for rejection; and other potential considerations to grant the requested coverage)Managing the database for the daily requests ensuring all applications are encoded and current status of approvals are reflectedProviding of support in managing the collateral database, ensuring that collateral details are reflected in the systemsReconciling of insurance cover information between platform-generated reports and our systemsConverting of insurance covers in Atradius from indication to credit limit based on the weekly active contracts list; update and/or set up account in the systems as required.Submitting of Binding contracts, including request and verification of data, collection of needed information, and preparation of contract for credit lines that are due for withdrawal or reduction by AtradiusAttending of weekly Credit Committees to raise and to escalate issues and concerns related to insurance activitiesManaging the professional relationship with the stakeholders; acting as a liaison between Commercial/ UW teams and Sales Office as the case may beOther Ad Hoc Activities: Preparation of standard reports and KPIs (Daily, weekly, monthly), Portfolio Reviews, Monthly tracing of invoice to transactions, Preparation of quarterly Turnover Declaration, Submission of claims, and Answer insurance-related questions that may be inquired by stakeholders Perform ongoing (often daily) Credit Operational activities which include but not limited to: Effective operation of regular data integrity control, which aligns all system data with the relevant credit data, approved within each credit assessment.Contracting matters – ad hoc queries on contracts including liaison with Relevant Credit Managers.Support the Commercial Business - Provide interpretation of credit policy and guide the businesses on the principles of sound credit management. Keep up-to-date on issues within the businesses by having close relationships with the sales managers and reading information from industry sources.
