About the team:
As part of the Regional Testing team, you will work with Experienced Payments Testing Professionals that are strategically located in India, Philippines, and Australia. You will work for a leading Australian banking client that is seeking to simplify, modernize, and digitize its switching and merchant processing solution under FIS’s managed service offering.
About the role:
As a Software Test Analyst, you’ll test and perfect the fintech products that will change the way people around the world pay, bank and invest. This critical role involves establishing compliance processes with your team and implementing a quality maturity roadmap for each IT functional area.
What you will be doing:
Reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
Identifying test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan (Test Strategy/Test Plan)
Developing, documenting and maintaining the functional test cases and other test artefacts like the test data, data validation and harness scripts
Developing, maintaining and upgrading manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans
Executing and evaluating manual or automated test cases and report test results
Performing usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability and security
Organizing and maintaining the test script library
Working closely with technical and non technical resources for quality of delivery and ensure all outputs are aligned with key project success metrics
Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms
Assisting in the release process and with improving and automating the process
Holding and facilitating test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
Identifying any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
Isolating, replicating and reporting defects and verifying defect fixes
Complying with all FIS policies and procedures
Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you will need:
At least 5 years of background with software testing for Banking and Payments clients
Must have background with transaction switching or Payments Testing experience (eftpos, card schemes MCard etc.) and has worked with Banking and Payments Industry.
Must have experience in testing using stubs and simulators
Must have experience in Schemes Certification testing using EMV
Must be familiar with ISO8583 message processing & Switch – Payments processing.
Proficiency in quality management methods, tools and technologies.
A bachelor’s in computer science, information systems, business administration or other related discipline, or the equivalent experience
Added bonus if you have:
Experience in the following Applications: IST/Merchant Account & Settlement (MAS), IST/Clearing (CLR), Data Navigator, Connex &/or Webpay/Digipay
Experience in the following Tools/Sims: Test Rail, Jira, FINsim
Background with POS & ATM
Background working with Australian clients is a big plus
ISTQB Foundation Software Testing certification
