What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Accounting qualification is a requirement.
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in the financial services sector.
- Must be familiar with IFRS accounting standards.
- Knowledge of sales tax / VAT is a plus.
- Strong experience of working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong English oral and written skills.

- Ability to effectively interact at all levels within the firm and with its clients.

What will you do?
- Entrance of data into client accounting systems.
- Function as a bookkeeper for the clients of the firm.
- Create and maintain Fixed Assets Registers.
- Prepare vouchers, book petty cash expenses into client accounting systems reconcile all bank statements for clients.
- Responsible for accruals and provisions and monthly book closing for review by the team.
- Prepare client periodic trial balance, balance sheet, income statement for review by the team.
- Preparation and processing of financial reports and financial statements for clients in coordination with team.
- Assist the team to meet client external and internal auditor’s needs including ledgers, reports, and schedules.
- Partner with all project execution teams to develop and/or enhance processes to make sure that the clients’ needs are met as projects evolve in the most efficient and effective manner.
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through developing and conducting strict quality assurance tests.
- Liaise with project leads and their delivery teams (clients where necessary) to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
