The HR Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing various HR processes to support, standardize and strengthen the Reinsurance and Investments segments, and ensure they are aligned with the long-term goals of the HR team.  The Operations Analyst will interface as required to support Head of HR, the segments’ HRBPs and the People Operations team and other Arch Capital Group’s HR COEs ensuring that Arch Reinsurance and Investments are appropriately represented on Group initiatives and programs involving HRIS or other platforms.

Strategic Analytics is a dynamic, growing team at Arch.  The team develops innovative predictive models and analytical tools to improve profitability and growth.  This position will support the technical implementation of predictive models and analytical tools of the Strategic Analytics team.  The position requires strong Python and SQL experience, as well as monitoring and maintence support experience.  The role is for an individual who is open to exploring and implementing new technology in Azure and Databricks, as the team is dynamic and the technology needs and requirements are fluid and will evolve over time.

• Develop and maintain Databricks Notebooks and Azure Data Factory Pipelines
• Develop libraries using Python
• Develop batch data workflows for analytics-driven solutions
• Build analytical tools and expand capabilities to improve monitoring of predictive model applications and processes
• Use SQL, Python and Snowflake to explore and understand underlying data, and suggest improvements for monitoring, performance, and best practice

The primary purpose of the role is to work within the Modelling Team to model D&F Risk, execute ad hoc projects, to understand and use current in-house tools, and to report global exposures across all lines of business to the Underwriters and facilitate technical pricing and loss estimation.

Main tasks will include data management, analysing the effect of new accounts on existing major concentrations of risk and running account contribution analyses and pricing reports and providing output to underwriters and dealing with queries.

This position will be best suited for someone with experience with Touchstone and financial terminology, cleaning raw data, detail oriented and with good organizational skills.

Specific Responsibilities

• Work closely with the underwriters to provide findings from output
• Adding value to the underwriting process by providing insights into the modelled output and reliability of the results

• Use SQL queries to retrieve and update modelling information as required

The role will be responsible for supporting end-to-end project accounting life cycle activities for assigned accounts and projects. The role will be involved with stakeholder coordination to execute processes that will drive the completion of assigned projects.

Responsibilities: 

• Perform moderately complex tasks that support multiple and varied projects in compliance with the contract, service level agreement, define methodologies, and procedures

As a member of Network Operations L1 Support team, the Network Operations Lead has the primary responsibility for monitoring the Corporate Visa Networks and providing first level response to assist in the mitigation or elimination of issues affecting network connectivity and impacting our clients or the Visa brand. The preferred candidate will need to possess strong technical and analytical abilities, to effectively monitor and support network connectivity on critical systems, resolve a high number of reported issues without need for escalation or assistance. Should possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and often act as the first point of contact with Visa customers. 

Essential Functions

• Track, update and resolve all assigned incidents, changes, and problem tickets via the Ask Now management system, ensuring that documentation is thorough, accurate and meets a standard of high quality.

• Proactively monitor, recognize, analyze, isolate and resolve documented hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques.

• Properly escalate incidents in a timely manner per support guidelines and procedures.

• Liaise with L2 support groups and development groups to collaborate on the resolution of incidents and problems.

• Follow documented support procedures, managing each issue through resolution or turnover to maintain established service levels.

• Act as the support advocacy for Visa clients, who are comprised of consumers, businesses, financial institutions, internal groups, and governments worldwide.

• Gather pertinent information and work with our clients to isolate and resolve most events without need for assistance.

• Develop, edit, and distribute effective internal and external communications in a timely and accurate manner, per documented processes.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. • Coordinate between various internal and external stakeholders, with the guidance of your line manager, to ensure a smooth onboarding process for clients until handover to the operational teams, including the following team duties:
  • AML/ KYC analysis, and driving our internal compliance approval process;
  • Bank account opening coordination;
  • Preparation, and coordinating the review, of service agreements;
  • Attend weekly calls with clients, as well as other key stakeholders;
  • Coordinating the review of legal documents for the structure setup;
  • Actively manage the communication between the client and all stakeholders; and
  • Track and perform all Luxembourg regulatory filings during the onboarding phase.
