Provides objective analysis and sound judgement with application of principles and techniques to evaluate and report project performance from concept study to construction & startup including practical assessment of schedule completion and expected final cost. Competencies include setup of work breakdown structure, establishing levels of control and detail, planning and scheduling, cost analysis and forecasting, progress measurement, earned value performance, risk analysis and change control.

Responsible for managing, controlling, forecasting and reporting cost and schedule performance for projects throughout the organization. Services include setting up and managing project controls systems (including setup of work breakdown structure), capturing to-date progress and expenditure data, analyzing to-date performance data, forecasting at-completion performance data (EAC costs, hours), analyzing project risks (contingency management), managing change and incorporating scope variations into schedule and cost deliverables, and preparing associated reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to proactively articulate the capabilities of Manila role of project controls across various North American Regions, Business Lines, levels of company management and cross functional staff.

• Responsible to distribute work assignments and monitor work load, to most effectively utilize staff and meet the projects, Regions, Business Lines objectives. Ability to proactively track and communicate staffing activities to various stakeholders. May be required to report on staff utilization, appropriateness of staff for assignment, and other quality and performance metrics.

• Exercises experience and sound judgement in assessing complex project controls and associated staffing situations to both the project and the business unit’s goals. Coordinates the efforts of assigned resources/staff with other project and business unit staff.

• Participate in business development, proposal efforts and project startups as needed.

• May be involved in assessing and evaluating quality of work effort of staff and advise on approach and/or elevate corrective actions, communicating appropriately with project and business stakeholders.

• Develops, trains and mentors staff in both technical aspects of project controls methods as well as support interpersonal communications with assignment project manager and other staff.

• Effectively disseminates corporate expectation regarding company policy as it relates to reflecting project status on all project complexities and types. Conveys project controls procedural and best practice information and existing and emerging project controls methods.

Responsibilities (how we will measure success) 

• As a Power BI developer, you will support the business by developing dashboards using Power BI based on requirements with linked content, drill-down views, nesting parameters, and other features that can be leveraged from the reporting platform Knowledge of other BI / Reporting tools.
