Key Responsibilities

·       Supports application development projects by leading in the creation of standards and procedures related to database management systems.

·       Plan and manage capacity of database management systems.

·       Maintain the systems that are instrumental in our business functions.

·       Maintaining detailed technical documentation.

·       Perform technical support, troubleshoot, and provide Root Cause Analysis on complex issues effectively and efficiently in line with the SLA required by the business.

·       Review and Assess environments using tools, logs, and log analysis and respond to alerts by following procedures or escalating them.

·       Perform complex ad-hoc requests.

·       Provides recommendations regarding new technologies to keep infrastructure up to date.

·       Provide data protection and enforce security standard procedures.

·       Ensure that information security policy is considered and always followed,

·       recommends any changes to policy and approved policy changes are documented.

·       Assist superiors and other engineers on other tasks and projects as needed.

·       Train, KT and delegate tasks to trainees and associates.

·       Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields.

·       Minimum of 7 years' IT experience.

·       Highly experienced in Microsoft SQL Server, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022

·       Highly experienced in Always On Availability Group, Failover Clustering, Database

·       Mirroring, Backup and Restore, Optimizing Performance and T-SQL.

·       Experience in Azure Cloud, SQLMI and SQL Database

·       Experience in Oracle, Postgres, NoSQL and MYSQL

·       Good Communication and Team skills with the ability to cooperate, present to and participate with peers/team members.

·       Good problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Nice to Have Skills

·       Knowledge in MongoDB, Cassandra, GCP

Wrist Shared Services is looking for a General Accounting (GA) Team Lead who will be leading the General Accounting and/or related accounting functions. You are expected to have in-depth knowledge of General Accounting systems, processes, principles, and policies, and experience in developing and implementing GA best practices. As the GA Team Lead, you will work with local business teams and the General Accounting team in Manila to ensure the execution of required tasks efficiently at the required quality level.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage, monitor, and perform day-to-day processing of general accounting transactions.
• Monitor collection and cash application-related metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operational decision-making.
• Continuously improve General Accounting process through standardization and automation initiatives to ensure team, tools, and processes are supporting and enabling the Company’s growth.
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with and adherence to internal controls policies, and procedures.
• Resolve, communicate, and escalate issues to the Regional Process Owner and/or Head of Finance (WSC)
• Develop, evaluate, and provide regular and routine feedback to team members regarding performance, service levels, and KPIs.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure effective communication is maintained within the team and externally.
• Coordinate with other units/departments to facilitate requests, and resolve workflows or production issues.
• Meet the Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements and performance metrics established.
• The GA Team Lead will work with:
  • Local business teams
    • Work with Accounts Receivable Regional Process Owners for Europe & WNA on a day-to-day basis to ensure prioritization and timely delivery of required tasks
    • Escalate issues of concern to General Accounting Regional Process Owners for Europe, WNA, ME, and Asia
  • Accounts Receivable Analyst
    • Set KPIs, monitor the performance of direct reports, and provide coaching on accomplishing goals
    • Direct the GA team, overseeing staff assignments, training, workload evaluation, and daily processing
    • Investigate escalated issues and concerns and resolve with respective teams
    • Performs personnel responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and planning resource needs within the unit to ensure the most qualified candidates are selected

• Minimum 5-8 years of years relevant work experience in General Accounting or related accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related accounting field or equivalent experience
