The Accountant will handle, prepare, compute, manage, research, and analyze all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity, and cash flows of small- to medium-sized Australian businesses.

Your day could see you:

• Perform month-end closing activities such as account reconciliation, revenue accounting, expense accounting, etc.

• Prepare ad hoc reports required for team meetings or as requested by management and customers

• Prepare and submit financial reports in a timely and accurate manner

• Review all financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Reconcile daily bank transactions

• Process approved sales invoices

• Process supplier invoices received from email and prepare a summary of the weekly listing of invoices for payment. Ensure all suppliers’ invoices have been approved

• Prepares purchase order as requested by the client

• Record month-end accruals, prepayments, and other journal entries

• Checks monthly end accruals, prepayments, and other journal entries

• Checks monthly credit card statements and AU expense reports

• Update weekly reports such as cash flow, KPI tracker, and cash position statement

• Preparation and lodgment of Activity Statements

• Process payroll and payroll-related tasks which include leave management, superannuation lodgment, WorkCover lodgment, STP Filing, and payroll tax lodgment (as required)

As a Corporate Legal Professional at Avaloq, you will play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance and providing expert guidance on various legal matters. Your main responsibilities are within Corporate Governance:

• Planning and execution of all board of director meetings of the Avaloq group subsidiaries for EMEA and APAC region. Wrist Shared Services is looking for a General Accounting (GA) Team Lead who will be leading the General Accounting and/or related accounting functions. You are expected to have in-depth knowledge of General Accounting systems, processes, principles, and policies, and experience in developing and implementing GA best practices. As the GA Team Lead, you will work with local business teams and the General Accounting team in Manila to ensure the execution of required tasks efficiently at the required quality level.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage, monitor, and perform day-to-day processing of general accounting transactions.
• Monitor collection and cash application-related metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operational decision-making.

Role Overview

The General Manager – Software Engineering role will oversee the development and implementation of strategy and business plans for one or more functional areas in line with the broader Datacom direction. This role will involve managing daily business activities, including.

Role Responsibilities

The General Manager –Software Engineering is responsible for (but not limited to):

• Owning the development and implementation of strategy for one or more functional areas, in line with broader Datacom strategy.

General Accountant

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Chief accountant, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist the Chief Accountant in the preparation of any and all reporting and analysis requirements regardless of reporting frequency including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc. This includes postings of vouchers.
• Ensure information presented in all reports is accurate and reflective of actual business transactions.
• Ensure all reports are prepared on a timely basis meeting all deadlines.

• Assist in conducting surprise spot-checks on General Cashier’s float on a periodic basis.
• Assist in conducting surprise spot-checks on all Outlet Cashier’s float on a periodic basis in addition to spot-check performed by the General Cashier.
• Assist in conducting surprise stock-count inspection in addition to/ during the month-end stock-count conducted by the Cost Controller’s office.

• Assist in the preparation of all groundwork required for all statutory audit and tax/fee requirements.
• Provide assistance during the audit (internal and external) review process.
• Administer all tax filing and government reporting procedures to ensure accurate, timely information is provided in compliance with laws and regulations.
