WHAT IS YOUR ROLE 

As the Team Captain, you are responsible for the day-to-day functions of your team. You will assist in overseeing the company’s onboarding and host success policies, internal workflows, and priorities as well as be of service to your team members at any given time. You will be the main POC for any agent escalated issues related to onboarding and host success. You will be expected to devise solutions based on limited information to resolve issues and adapt existing processes. You will use evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select the right course of action as needed and propose improvements. You will also work with the Service Delivery Manager and the People Team to identify growth and development opportunities for the team members.

WHAT WILL YOU DO 

Team Management 

• Ensure that the team meets the company’s onboarding and host success KPI targets 
• Manage operations and developments of the Boldr onboarding team including onboarding, training, and productivity tracking
• Collaborate with team to drive requirements to go live, strategy, and optimization of the onboarding process to ensure optimum host experience and a healthy marketplace
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules to ensure that every day has coverage across the company different onboarding queues and projects
• Takes initiative in making necessary changes to schedule (sick days, PTO, switching shifts, holidays, etc.) and is assertive in jumping in to help when needed.
• Monitor attendance and people concerns of all team members, coordinating closely with the HR Team for disciplinary cases 
• Ensure team members are properly trained and working consistently to meet the company’s needs
• Lead team by example and maintain positive team morale by encouraging team members, giving shoutouts for quality performance and teamwork, and assisting in deciding who receives quarterly bonuses.

External Communications 

• Demonstrate mastery of the internal workflows and external user experience of the company’s onboarding and host success. Clearly communicate roadblocks and potential opportunities to cross functional teams.
• Provide frequent and important updates to the team about team productivity, efficiency, and performance as well as ideas for improved processes, workflows, etc. Examples can include: 
• Weekly updates on different queues, priority focus of the week, training reminders, etc.
• Video updates on time to first response, activation rate, team and individual metrics, etc.
• Understand, investigate, and solve any complex onboarding and host success issues including but not limited to requirements to go live, onboarding priorities, host communications, and host quality.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and scaling growth, in coordination with the Service Delivery Manager 

Internal Coordination (Boldr Management)

• Work with the People Team to make recommendations for their team member’s career advancement based on their aspirations and learning needs 
• Relay consistent issues to the Service Delivery Manager in a timely and efficient manner

People Development 

• Identify growth and development opportunities for team members to enable career progression and self-development 
• Conduct and document impactful 1:1’s with team members to monitor and assess team members’ performance, and provide timely feedback through regular coaching through the Employee Discussion Log and Quarterly Performance Appraisals
• Helps in culture building particularly in embracing our Core Values and exemplifying what a Boldr leader should be.

Additional Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Review and take action on accounts for potential violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Use
• Handle a high volume of host-facing support tickets and submissions while providing friendly and efficient service 
• Ability to take initiative and maintain productivity independently with minimal supervision
• Implement policies related to the Client’s products.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of customer support and success processes.
• Demonstrate mastery of the company and Client’s offerings (i.e. its product and services).
• Understand, investigate, and solve any complex client requests or complaints; particularly when multiple departments or teams are involved.

As the Team Captain, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of your team. You will serve as a point of escalation for issues outside the authority of an agent. WHAT WILL YOU DO 

People Management 

● Identify growth and development opportunities for team members 

● Monitor attendance and punctuality and other people issues of all team members and consistently escalate them to the HR department for proper disciplinary action as needed

Performance Quality Management 

● Monitor and assess team members’ performance, and provide timely feedback through regular coaching as well as through Weekly and Monthly performance reviews. 

● Ensure that team members are properly trained and working consistently to meet client needs.

● Ensure that the team meets company and client-specific KPI targets. 

Logistics 

● Ensure that team members' and equipment needs are met to sustain service levels. 

● Recommend/suggest relevant alternatives to the product or tool being used by the company. 

Internal Coordination 

● Work with the People Development Manager to make recommendations for their team member’s career path, and assist in making a comprehensive training plan for them. 

● Relay consistent issues to the Service Delivery Manager in a timely and efficient manner.

About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Targets include:
• both revenue and activity goals needed to deliver the former for new accounts acquisition; and
• both revenue and activity goals needed to deliver the former for retention of existing business.             
• Build relationship with Financial Advisors assigned to him/her, which includes acting as CS liaison when it comes to:
• Request pricing and proposal generation of proposal for customized plans. This includes pricing negotiation with CS Case Underwriting
• Request of new business and renewal business set-up and issuance of initial/renewal billing for customized cases. Monitors policy issuance and delivery to agent, Group Medical issuance of individual member cards, issuance of individual member certificate, billing issuance, and  premium collection and commission crediting.
• Request of new and renewal business set-up for package cases. Monitors policy issuance and delivery to agent, Group Medical issuance of individual member cards, issuance of individual member certificate, and commission crediting.
• Coordinates the monthly renewals with the concerned Financial Advisor
• Overseeing the handling of daily inquiry calls from clients with regards to their program; and
• Monitors and ensures delivery of service required from the backroom office. Ensure the prompt and timely submission of accurate reports to immediate superior and provide analysis for each report to include recovery plan should figures lag behind assigned targets.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any course
• At least 2 years corporate sales experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handle large data processing such as data mining, cleansing, transformation, merging, aggregation, and calculation by using data processing software (i.e. DCS, SQL)
• Design, model, and generate deterministic or predictive data using Prophet, SAS, Python, or R Studio.
• Using processed data, conduct investigation, provide analysis, and endorse recommendations to stakeholders

  • Almost Associate of Life Management Institute (LOMA)
• Skills:
  • Experience in manipulating data sets, designing, building actuarial and/or predictive models, and is familiar with the following software/tools:
    • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, SAS etc.) to transform data and draw insights from large data sets.
    • Knowledge and exposure in actuarial software especially Prophet and DCS (or equivalent).
    • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Power BI, SAS VA etc.
    • Automation solution such as Powershell and UiPath
  • Knowledgeable in IFRS and PFRS insurance accounting and reporting standards is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

The Key Accountabilities are, but not limited to:

• Manage completion within deadlines for all monthly financial statements & reporting functions in accordance with Group processes and policies. Group reporting packages include Actuals, CSR, Tax Packs, CCE, CBCR and etc)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Preparation and Presentation of consolidated financial statements 

• Prepare group consolidated financial statement and reports to internal and external stakeholders. 

• Understand financial statements and be able to explain to management any variances vs prior periods. 

• Coordinate with other finance functions in monthly closing process to ensure closing timeline is met.  

• Perform month end closing activities including but not limited to bank/cash reconciliation, timely and accurate processing of journal entries (Fixed Asset Depreciation, Intangible Asset Amortization, Prepayment Expense, Payroll entries and other adjustments and corrections as needed), Intercompany balances reconciliation. 

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation and analyses of balance sheet accounts. 

• Ensure accounting transactions comply with international standards. Give advice on best practice of accounting for complex transactions. 

Managing annual audit process 

• Liaise with external auditors and assist in annual audit process for the Group and for key subsidiaries in Asia, ensure that audits are completed in timely and satisfactory manner. 

Managing changes and improvements to internal finance processes 

• Be involved in finance process and system improvement projects, representing general ledger function and giving support including but not limited to cleaning up data for system upload, balance re-classifications or corrections, user acceptance testing. 

Managing Team 

• Manage a team of 6 General Ledger accountants. 

• Define KPIs for each finance function to monitor productivity, efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
