The ideal candidate for this role will gain an advanced understanding of troubleshooting hosting technologies both unique to GoDaddy and also standard to the hosting world. You will have the opportunity to work with senior individuals in these roles and gather the understanding and skills to troubleshoot and maintain enterprise level environments.

Responsibilities:

• Employees will be required to provide advanced support via chat and tickets
• Employees will work with technical/product support for related departments including: Fraud, OCEO, Domain Services, Development groups and server administrators
• Success in this position would require an employee to handle escalated incidents through IRIS/Jira Service Desk
• This position would require an employee to test and assist in the resolution of system and process issues within the call center environment
• Employees will need to test and assist in providing a conduit of communication between the call center and the development teams
• The successful candidate must know how to assist management in developing approaches to address system and service challenges and opportunities
• The successful candidate must possess especially strong knowledge and be versed in GoDaddy Help, Confluence, and General Hosting Knowledge

As a Sales and Tech Lead, you will set the path to success by managing performance and service quality to guarantee customer satisfaction and meet revenue. You are also expected to:

• Establish and maintain communication with clients and/or team members; understand their needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations
• Produce solid and effective strategies based on accurate and meaningful data reports and analysis and/or keen observations that would impact the bottom line
• Identify the training needs that will equip the staff with fundamental skills and knowledge
• Have a thorough understanding of the various system tools and operational procedures utilized within the program
• Collaborate with stakeholders on a regular basis for changes in promotions and updates
• Conduct all defined and required process compliance and adherence to all team members, partners, and third-party providers

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or any related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in CMDB ideally in a Global Retail Industry
• IT Infrastructure technical background specifically:
• ServiceNow Engineering and Administration
• Store Solutions, Security and Redundancy, Large-scale and Distributed Environments
• Windows desktop and server technologies including Desktop Applications, Print Technologies, Remote Support, SOE Design, development and deployment
• Mobility i.e. Blackberry, BES, IPhone, ActiveSync, Portable Data Terminals, Microsoft Exchange, LANDESK (or equivalent), Active Directory
• Certification Needed: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• Good Communication / Negotiation / Presentation skills
• Ability to write technical documentation

Nice to Have:

• Industry experiences working within AU Company
• Certifications relevant to CMDB such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ITIL Foundation Certificate, etc.

What will you do?

As a CMDB Lead, you will be defining and owning the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) platform. You will ensure that the CMDB is a dynamic single source of truth of accurate, accessible, and reliable information that, enables technology and business services and promotes proactive end-to-end management of services.

• Define requirements and create a CMDB blueprint.
• Own, maintain, and enhance the technical platform, processes, and documentation but not limited to service and data models.
• Select tools for configuration management process.
• Construct, populate, federate, and automate data into the CMDB (includes data and process perspectives)
• Move the CMDB into production and facilitate Configuration Management audits.
• Reviews and approves changes to the Configuration Management System infrastructure.
• Reviews and approves major IT infrastructure changes to address impacts on configuration management data.
• Provides and approves all requirements, use cases, user stories, etc. in support of new or improving functionality of the Configuration Management System.
• Oversee design, coding, and testing of reports.
• Reviews and approves all administrator access requests to the Configuration Management Tool (ServiceNow).
• Fulfill Configuration Management Service Requests.
• Collect and report metrics; identify service improvement opportunities.
• Administer and maintain the Configuration Management System.
