We are seeking a strong Senior Systems Engineer to build out technical services in Microsoft Azure and some technical work in on-premise data centers.

On our Boomi platform you are the driver for enterprise-wide API management and help to promote the use of APIs as a core element of reliable data exchange. In addition, you support us in the implementation and management of our interface landscape.

Job Responsibilities

• Establishing and further refining central API management
• Applying your knowledge of API standard protocols and best practices
• Maintaining and expanding the enterprise API portal
• Planning and realising changes to interfaces in our system landscape 
• Developing technical concepts (technical design)
• Creating and conducting module tests
• Dealing with change requests, incl. estimating the required effort 
• Involvement in 2nd-level support when it comes to analysing incidents and trouble reports 

• Completed studies in (business) informatics, mathematics, business administration with a mathematical focus or a comparable qualification
• Hands-on experience with the Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) Tool and Oracle Watchlist Screening (OWS)
• Java Script, XML and SQL experience required
• Ability to convert the Business Matching rules to EDQ Matching rules involving Exact and Fuzzy Rules
• Knowledge of ETL tools, ETL routines or in data warehousing, as well as in data modelling is an advantage
• First professional experience in the form of internships or working student activities in the financial services industry, ideally in the insurance industry desirable
• Experience with programming or script languages such as Java or Python desirable
• Fluent English skills
• Willingness to occasionally travel internationally 
• Communicative nature, as well as a quick grasp and analytical thinking skills
