Responsibilities

• Conduct client discussions, extracting key information to create detailed and accurate documents.

• Create and update a variety of documents, including system manuals, user guides, and process documentation.

About the Role:

We are a flight-tracking business so we need to maintain accurate databases of all airports, airlines, and aircraft. From the past and the future. We have been maintaining the databases ourselves for 4 years but are looking to hire someone now to do it full-time.

Reports of inaccuracies come via email and submission form from our users and this hire will need to confirm the accuracy using Wikipedia or other online searches, then enter the correct or new data into our online database backend, and then send a template reply to the user that the issue has been fixed.

So it would be very valuable if this person has an interest or understanding of commercial aviation. For example, each airport has two codes - JFK and KJFK - and each airline, and each aircraft. But they can overlap, or be difficult to find, and change over time, and the aircraft, in particular, have only very minor differences.

Key Responsibilities:

Wrist Service Center is looking for a Product Onboarding Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring proper product onboarding of prioritized products. You will onboard products and assist with setting guidelines for the requirements needed for the ship supply industry, both procurement and commercial.

What you'll be doing:

• Use the product knowledge and application to assist with building Wrist's product catalog
• Be in contact with stakeholders – both internal as well as external, around the world
• Act as a point of contact for vendors concerning PDX inquiries, such as categorization support, etc.
• Makes sure to meet the deadlines set for onboarding products in the Master Data system
• Ensures products are enriched by the commercial needs of the company with emphasis on the Ship Supply Industry
• Follow up on guidelines shared internally and with suppliers to ensure proper onboarding of products with useful data through the PDX and Master Data system
• Conduct data input monitoring and enrichment, ensuring that the data is being submitted correctly and meets the minimum data requirements.
• Adhere to Data Governance when working
• Develop SOPs and best practices

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• Ability to work structured and plan several days ahead
• Experience within the maritime and shipping industry
• Proficient with MS Excel, MS Teams and other Microsoft Office programs
• Knowledge about data collection/master data digital platforms is an advantage
• Ability to work in high levels of accuracy in a data-rich environment as well as build structure in data processing.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to keep a good overview of multiple tasks at the time
• Pro-active and motivated to independently reach out to our supplier base through calls and emails
