About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a focus on end-to-end (e2e) and integration testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain e2e tests using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, and/or Cucumber.
- Conduct integration testing with tools such as Jest and PACT.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Assist QA testers in upskilling on automation to enhance team capabilities.
- Perform testing on Micro Frontends (MFEs) and Serverless architectures, specifically with AWS Lambda.
What you'll bring
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in e2e and integration testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
- Ability to mentor and upskill QA testers on automation.
- Experience in testing on MFEs and Serverless architectures, specifically AWS Lambda.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
