Position Description

The Merchant Support Team Lead position will be part of our Award-Winning Customer Support team and will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 15 Merchant Support Representatives taking inbound merchant requests through telephone calls, emails and chat sessions.

Specific Responsibilities will include:

• Ensures that staff performance is in compliance with established procedures and meets or exceeds departmental performance standards.

• Provides daily direction and communication to representatives.

• Provides feedback, coaching and training to meet performance objectives.

• Provides statistical, performance feedback, coaching and development on a regular basis to each representative. Writes and administers performance reviews for skill improvement.

• Conducts regular call evaluations and audits to monitor team member’s adherence to quality and departmental policies on customer interactions.

• Addresses disciplinary and/or performance problems according to company policy. Prepares and communicates documentation with representatives. Makes effective/appropriate decisions relative to corrective action as required.

• Shares continual responsibility for deciding how to manage representatives ensuring customer requests are handled efficiently and effectively.

• Ability to handle and resolve escalated customer concerns.

This is an on-site position. An on-site position must be consistently performed at an assigned Visa office location and require daily commute to the office location.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role

As a Full-Time Tekla Rebar Modeler, you'll create comprehensive reinforcement drawings and plans for concrete structures while collaborating closely with our Australian project coordination teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to develop detailed reinforcement plans.
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to comprehend project requirements and limitations.
• Employ computer-aided design (CAD) software and relevant tools to produce precise and detailed rebar detailing drawings.
• Ensure strict compliance with Australian industry standards, building codes, and project specifications.
• Calculate and specify the quantity, size, and precise placement of rebar, mesh, and other reinforcement materials.
• Generate accurate material take-offs and bills of materials.
• Review and adapt drawings as required to accommodate design changes or construction-related issues.
• Collaborate effectively with the construction team to address inquiries or concerns related to reinforcement details.
• Stay informed about industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in rebar detailing.

Must-have Skills / Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as Tekla Rebar Modeler handling Australian projects.
• Must be familiar with Tekla software
• Proven track record as a Rebar/Reinforcement Detailer in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and rebar detailing software (e.g., RebarCAD, Tekla Structures).
• Strong grasp of structural engineering principles and Australian building codes. - required
• Exceptional attention to detail, consistently delivering precise and error-free drawings.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude.

As a member of Network Operations L1 Support team, the Network Operations Lead has the primary responsibility for monitoring the Corporate Visa Networks and providing first level response to assist in the mitigation or elimination of issues affecting network connectivity and impacting our clients or the Visa brand. The preferred candidate will need to possess strong technical and analytical abilities, to effectively monitor and support network connectivity on critical systems, resolve a high number of reported issues without need for escalation or assistance. Should possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and often act as the first point of contact with Visa customers. 

Essential Functions

• Track, update and resolve all assigned incidents, changes, and problem tickets via the Ask Now management system, ensuring that documentation is thorough, accurate and meets a standard of high quality.

• Proactively monitor, recognize, analyze, isolate and resolve documented hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques.

• Properly escalate incidents in a timely manner per support guidelines and procedures.

• Liaise with L2 support groups and development groups to collaborate on the resolution of incidents and problems.

• Follow documented support procedures, managing each issue through resolution or turnover to maintain established service levels.

• Act as the support advocacy for Visa clients, who are comprised of consumers, businesses, financial institutions, internal groups, and governments worldwide.

• Gather pertinent information and work with our clients to isolate and resolve most events without need for assistance.

• Develop, edit, and distribute effective internal and external communications in a timely and accurate manner, per documented processes.

• Maintain technical skills through participation in ongoing and consistent training.

• Support project schedules and change management.

• Responsible for internal and external communication of issues to management and other internal support groups.

• Internal and External Bridge Stewardship in support of the timely resolution of internal and client facing issues.

• Provide technical training for Network Support staff.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
