Your Responsibilities 

The Business Information Research (BIR) Lead will oversee a group of BIR analysts who are responsible for the creation and maintenance of RepRisk’s datasets, with a focus on companies and infrastructure projects, which are vital inputs to the RepRisk® ESG Risk Platform. The BIR Lead will oversee the team’s development, ensuring performance standards are met, supporting the overall goal of establishing Manila as the centre of excellence for dataset management. 

The BIR Lead will focus on the development and well-being of the team, while setting out individual roadmaps for the group’s future with the company and is expected to be a conduit for process improvements and strategic decisions. The BIR Lead is also expected to collaborate with other divisions and Department Heads located in Asia, Europe, and North America in support of strategic projects and the company’s overall goals. 

As a key player in our dynamic team

• You work closely with the Head of BIR and other BIR Leads to ensure that requests from internal and external clients located across Asia, Europe, and North America are processed in a timely and accurate manner 

• You ensure team members are taking ownership of all incoming requests/projects and supporting their successful and timely completion by coordinating, planning, and organizing the long-term and day-to-day task distribution of the team 

• You support and contribute to the BIR teams development by conceptualizing, developing, and innovating processes in terms of quality and efficiency gains,  through the use of technology or other strategies 

• You help institute quality control mechanisms to ensure comprehensive and accurate coverage, as well as timely maintenance, of RepRisk’s datasets focused on companies and infrastructure projects, including structure and relationships (subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.) and associated corporate actions resulting from M&As, spin-offs, reorganizations, and other corporate actions

Your Responsibilities  

As a RepRisk® Junior Business Information Analyst, your focus is the creation and maintenance of RepRisk’s datasets focused on companies and infrastructure projects which are vital inputs to the ESG Research, Products, and Sales departments through the RepRisk® ESG Risk Platform.  Part of your responsibilities would include matching client company records that were not automatically matched to the RepRisk database by our internal tools.  You will also be responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of entities in the RepRisk database by performing scheduled reviews, cleanups, and special projects. The position will also expose you to other special tasks as needed.  The work includes analysis, data management and quality control, as well as encoding and clerical tasks. 

This role will report directly to the Business Information Research Team Leads in the Manila office.  Moreover, you will: 

• Create and maintain RepRisk’s datasets focused on companies, NGOs, infrastructure projects, etc. associated with environmental, social, and corporate governance issues 

• Research, validate and encode relevant data, assuring the quality of entity level information before entering it into the RepRisk database in accordance with RepRisk standards 

• Responsible for the accurate, timely and comprehensive updates of RepRisk’s datasets including structure and relationships (subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.) and associated corporate actions resulting from M&As, spin-offs, reorganizations, and other corporate actions 

• Match client-provided entities with the entities in the RepRisk database 

• Work with the Business Information Research Leads and other Business Information Research Analysts to ensure projects are completed in timely manner   

• Extract entity information using proprietary tools for entity matching 

• Be assigned as “point person” to oversee different projects/tasks and assist other Analysts  

• Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed

Administrative

• Conducts in-depth investigation reports in support to employees' claims on cases of work-related injuries.
• Verifies the authenticity of submitted medical documents
• Assists other Compensation and Benefits personnel in doing and managing administrative works and other company related clinical duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help profile and capture online information on individuals who I believe would be prospective clients for my firm.
• Every week I share a list of 50-100 names to the VA, with some basic identifying information on each prospect, enough for the VA to get a start...
• The VA creates a folder structure to hold pdfs, photos, markdown files.
• The VA researches each prospect extensively, to include: full legal name, wealth indicators, residence, social media, background, education, professional employment, biography, family ties, political donations, charitable causes, civic causes, etc...
• The VA records this data into the markdown file (text file) inside the folder (I'll have very specific instructions to follow).  Simultaneously, the VA captures relevant pdfs of websites and other relevant information within the folder.
• The VA shares back the 50-100 prospect folders to me at the end of the week
• Repeat the process weekly...

Qualifications:

• This person needs to be an expert at Google search, writing, and organizing information according to a specific prospecting process, and capturing and recording the information according to file templates, folder structures, etc.
• Preference for Mac operating system (shortcuts, apps, et al)
