Job Title: Executive Assistant + Accountant
Schedule: M-F, 9am-5pm EST

About the Company:
The company is a downstream petroleum distributor. They specialize in gasoline distribution and marketing. They believe that a strong backcourt offering and brand recognition are the key drivers of gasoline sales and margin.
About the Role:
You will function primarily as an accountant wherein you will be responsible for handling lapsed books, and preparing reports and reviews. Additionally, you will do calendar management, social media functionalities, and other administrative tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and Accounting:
- Prioritize and efficiently catch up on lapsed books.
- Coordinate effectively with the US-based staff accountant and office manager.
- Preferably possess experience in fuel distribution to enhance understanding and efficiency.
Financial Reporting:
- Generate comprehensive reports to facilitate informed decision-making within the organization.
Control Reviews:
- Conduct thorough control reviews to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Executive Assistance:
- Act as an integral part of the team by providing executive support.
- Manage follow-ups, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate schedules and assist in various administrative responsibilities.
Social Media Coordination:
- Demonstrate familiarity with social media management
- At least 3 years of relevant experience (accounting AND administrative roles)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, MS Excel, and Google Workspace (required)
- Experience in fuel distribution is a plus
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
