First Circle, the fastest growing fintech company in the Philippines, is looking for a results-driven Sales Team Lead to join our team. As a Sales Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by leading and managing a team of sales representatives to ensure their high performance.
First Circle, founded in 2016, offers SME financing and is dedicated to building smart banking solutions for businesses. In 2024, we raised Series B, led by the IFC (the World Bank’s investment arm), and with a management team comprised of ex-Morgan Stanley and ex-Bridgewater Associates executives, First Circle is focused on revolutionising financial services in the region.
We have the best selling SME Credit product in the market. Following a strong 2024, we’re continuing to grow fast as we enter 2025. This is a proactive role for someone who wants to coach, inspire, strategise, and drive a team of diverse salespeople to double their performance and exceed sales targets. This role requires relocation to Manila, Philippines, offering a unique opportunity to embrace a new professional challenge while embarking on an exciting adventure in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
• Your primary responsibility is to double the sales volume of your team. Everything you do must be in pursuit of that objective.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to drive revenue growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Provide regular sales reports and performance updates to senior management.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify potential opportunities or threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
• Results-focused, with a proven track record of success in outbound sales with 5-8 years of experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse sales data and market information to drive business growth.
• Highly organised with strong project management skills.
• Willingness to occasionally travel as needed
• Relocation to Manila
