The DSE orchestrates involvement of multiple people in our Sales process, so that new customer revenue is consistently secured for our district office and Expeditors network. This position reports to the District Sales Manager.

Key Deliverables

These are the minimum results expected from a successful District Sales Executive:

• Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area
• Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool
• Orchestrate customer / branch relationships and collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources
• Participate in the creation of value-added solutions for customer’s logistics needs, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations
• Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing any necessary customer paperwork. When needed, support AR (accounts receivable) collection.
• Attend training & development sessions to continue developing selling skills and updating Expeditors Product and Service knowledge
• Involvement in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager
• Take on additional assignments as required, supporting company needs

• Assists the marketing department with administrative tasks.
• Manages and maintains marketing databases
• Assists in creating marketing content, including social media posts and promotional materials.
• Monitors and manages social media accounts, including posting content and engaging with followers.
• Work with graphic artist and brand managers to create engaging visuals and copy.
• Studies website and social media metrics and writes analytics reports.
• Conducts market research and competitive intelligence.
• Helps plan and execute marketing campaigns, digital ads, events, and sales.
• Collaborates with other departments as needed

Primary Responsibility

• Responsible for beefing up client base through scouting for potential clients and making actual sales transactions, expanding business with clients, and providing market information to help in developing marketing and sales plans and targets

Specific Responsibilities

• Presents, offers, follow up and make sales transactions for SGS CBE services.
• Prepares sales reports detailing prospective and existing client base and the progress of sales efforts and continuing projects.
• Increases client base by scouting for potential clients and maintaining assigned accounts through identification of their needs, packaging services that would best fulfill their requirements, and making successful sales transactions.
• Communicates client problems, complaints and other requirements through monthly reports.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of departmental goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior.
• Negotiation with clients within his/her authorities and/or in consultation with the senior managers.
• Requisition for financial support subject to approval of authorities concerned.
• Ensures compliance to the Group and national policies including but not limited to the maintenance of the Quality Management System.
