About the Role:

We are looking for our 2nd customer support agent, to help answer daily inquiries and troubleshooting from users. An example workflow is reading the customers support email in Front, checking your own app to determine if you see the issue from user’s end, deciphering what might actually be the root cause of the customers issue and then responding with a pre-written template or asking clarifying questions. Some tasks will require accessing our backend software to reset a user’s account, export their data to send to them, or triage.

This person will get onboarding from the direct team and the current support agent, who will be available for questions. While we do not expect 24/7 coverage and immediate replies to customers, the two support agents will need to coordinate such that one person is working each day, which means you should expect to work 1 day per weekend and to get 1 day per week off. eg. work on Sunday, but have Tuesday totally off.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Assist and handle incoming calls from members and/or providers
• Verify dental insurance coverage and benefits for patients (and a little of dental claims)
• Communicate with dental providers, insurance companies, and patients to gather necessary information
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of insurance verification
• Enter and update insurance information in the system
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to insurance coverage
• Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their insurance-related inquiries and concerns

• At least 3 years of experience in dental insurance verification (members and providers) in the US healthcare
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures
• Knowledge of dental insurance plans and coverage
• Detail-oriented with excellent data entry skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in using dental insurance verification software/systems
• Amenable to work in a graveyard shift

This role will manage inventory, purchasing activities, ERP purchasing data, optimizing spend, sourcing materials, vendor management and meeting the overall supply demands of the production facility. The position reports to the Master Planner. The position requires working with external suppliers and internal team members to support company objectives.

• Apply negotiation and procurement best practices and methods to establish and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Timely purchase order submission, including managing schedule changes, quantity changes, and cancelations to ensure continuous supply of required materials
• Communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations
• Request and review quotes from qualified suppliers to source materials
• Negotiate prices and terms with respect to cost, quality, and delivery competitiveness  
• Collaborate with production, planning, engineering, finance, and customer service as needed 
• Regular review of inventory usage and adjust ordering requirements and update ERP as necessary.  
• Facilitate the return of rejected or obsolete material
• Monitor market trends and stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials
• Evaluate areas of opportunity for continuous improvement to reduce costs where possible
• Explore and vet alternate sources for goods and materials
• On-board new suppliers and monitor current suppliers to ensure compliance with QMS

What you'll do

• Assisting customers with the activation and setup of their product and services
• Validation of the customer’s entitlement for support (e.g. a client’s customer, account is current, level of support service entitlement)
• Logging all customer incidents upon receipt into the approved case management system;
• Providing support to customers by:
• Providing a timely and clear indication of the nature of the incident,
• Communicating what steps will be taken to attempt to resolve the incident,
• Setting the customer’s expectation on what the estimated time to resolve the issue is,
• Providing any potential short-term alternatives or workarounds to the customer,

What you'll bring

• 4-year technical degree or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years’ experience in technical support or MIS in an Enterprise environment
• Ability to properly use all Microsoft tools including MSSolve, Knowledge Base, Order Entry, Internet and Intranet Resources
• Prior knowledge in at least one of the following disciplines is required: network operations, networking protocols, network authentication, messaging technology or messaging protocols, or other technical skill strengths with an online service or network communications
• Competencies before handling first interaction/call (verified by Vendor after New Hire Training)
