Your Responsibilities 

The Business Information Research (BIR) Lead will oversee a group of BIR analysts who are responsible for the creation and maintenance of RepRisk’s datasets, with a focus on companies and infrastructure projects, which are vital inputs to the RepRisk® ESG Risk Platform. The BIR Lead will oversee the team’s development, ensuring performance standards are met, supporting the overall goal of establishing Manila as the centre of excellence for dataset management. 

The BIR Lead will focus on the development and well-being of the team, while setting out individual roadmaps for the group’s future with the company and is expected to be a conduit for process improvements and strategic decisions. The BIR Lead is also expected to collaborate with other divisions and Department Heads located in Asia, Europe, and North America in support of strategic projects and the company’s overall goals. 

As a key player in our dynamic team

• You work closely with the Head of BIR and other BIR Leads to ensure that requests from internal and external clients located across Asia, Europe, and North America are processed in a timely and accurate manner 

• You ensure team members are taking ownership of all incoming requests/projects and supporting their successful and timely completion by coordinating, planning, and organizing the long-term and day-to-day task distribution of the team 

• You support and contribute to the BIR teams development by conceptualizing, developing, and innovating processes in terms of quality and efficiency gains,  through the use of technology or other strategies 

• You help institute quality control mechanisms to ensure comprehensive and accurate coverage, as well as timely maintenance, of RepRisk’s datasets focused on companies and infrastructure projects, including structure and relationships (subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.) and associated corporate actions resulting from M&As, spin-offs, reorganizations, and other corporate actions 

• You coach team members effectively and set an example when it comes to data integrity, purposeful, open and solution oriented communication, as well as performance monitoring and professional and personal development  

• You represent the BIR team in weekly Business Information Research Council meetings while proactively sharing acquired knowledge and contributing to corresponding projects on a regular basis

Your Responsibilities  

As a RepRisk® Junior Business Information Analyst, your focus is the creation and maintenance of RepRisk’s datasets focused on companies and infrastructure projects which are vital inputs to the ESG Research, Products, and Sales departments through the RepRisk® ESG Risk Platform.  Part of your responsibilities would include matching client company records that were not automatically matched to the RepRisk database by our internal tools.  You will also be responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of entities in the RepRisk database by performing scheduled reviews, cleanups, and special projects. The position will also expose you to other special tasks as needed.  The work includes analysis, data management and quality control, as well as encoding and clerical tasks. 

This role will report directly to the Business Information Research Team Leads in the Manila office.  Moreover, you will: 

• Create and maintain RepRisk’s datasets focused on companies, NGOs, infrastructure projects, etc. associated with environmental, social, and corporate governance issues 

• Research, validate and encode relevant data, assuring the quality of entity level information before entering it into the RepRisk database in accordance with RepRisk standards 

• Responsible for the accurate, timely and comprehensive updates of RepRisk’s datasets including structure and relationships (subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.) and associated corporate actions resulting from M&As, spin-offs, reorganizations, and other corporate actions 

• Match client-provided entities with the entities in the RepRisk database 

• Work with the Business Information Research Leads and other Business Information Research Analysts to ensure projects are completed in timely manner   

• Extract entity information using proprietary tools for entity matching 

• Be assigned as “point person” to oversee different projects/tasks and assist other Analysts

4. Conducts study, review and pre-qualification of alternative source/s of applicable raw material substitution to existing component in the product formulation/s as a resolution to the identified trouble-shooting made and recommends accordingly
5. Performs research activities, the collation and orderly safe-keeping of the researched data information, hand-outs, or related dossiers that supports the commercial trouble-shooting or the recommended product enhancement or fortification of the existing product formula
6. Conducts supporting trial testing parallel to the commercially-identified trouble to rule out root-cause and recommends appropriate corrective actions/ Support on answering and investigation on product complaint
7. Prepares Master Production Documentation of all Re-processing formulation and the applicable registration to the Document Control Center (DCC)
8. Conducts pilot scale and production scale batch trials and technology transfer for new products developed
9. Plays vital role for the developmental project’s first three (3) commercial process validation protocol run and the applicable documentation and change control

15. In-charge of the Monthly Developmental Progress Reporting and the need to call for any related coordination meeting with the manufacturing related departments
16. Ensures safe-keeping and the corresponding inventory management of glass wares and RPDD Laboratory Equipment plus its preventive maintenance and calibration requirements
17. Authorized signatory for the following documents in the absence of the RDD Manager such as: Product Label, Costing Approval, MBPR/MPDR or its BPR/PDR approval, and any Raw/Packaging Material’s accreditation
18. Represents the Department for scheduled and unscheduled meetings and other technical presentation/ trainings or suppliers’ product presentation in the absence of R&D Manager

• Act as one of the focal members of the Consumer Intelligence and Consulting Group – primarily Research Operations
• Provide support and assistance with the management of research projects across industries
• Serve as the quality checking (QC) champion to ensure adherence with GfK and global research standards

The Senior Research Analyst is part of the Market Insights Team which is the insights and research Center of Excellence of AGS. Market Insights is responsible for providing actionable insights and market and competitor intelligence reports that enable our recruitment teams to build tactical sourcing strategies, increase candidate quality, and become true talent advisors.

Senior Research Analysts are tasked with creating talent maps and other BAU reports. They also contributes to completing complex reports covering various aspects of recruitment market and competitor intelligence.

• Creates talent maps for niche talent markets through semantic and deep-web search, with emphasis on the use of Boolean and other x-ray searching methodologies
• Gathers candidate intelligence from social media networks and from other online sources, through the use of appropriate extensions and tools
• Leverages gathered intelligence to create long-term sourcing strategies for niche and volume hiring challenges
• Performs market research tasks through advanced Google search, basic database mining, and data scraping

The resource will be responsible for developing solutions for our clients to further position Merkle | Cardinal Path as a leading data, analytics, and insight service provider. We are searching for candidates that have experience building business intelligence dashboards, working with cloud hosted analytic databases, and conducting data analysis using SQL or Python.

An ideal candidate will have proven expertise in SQL alongside experience in databases such as BigQuery or Redshift. Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Datorama, or DOMO is essential. Knowledge in Python is also required, as well as experience in data ETL and working with product APIs. Experience in DBT or Alation is not required but is a bonus, as the immediate project work will include supporting adoption of Google Cloud Dataform and Google Cloud Data Catalog which are similar.

The work will require familiarity with media analytics data sources such as Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, Adobe Audience Manager, Facebook Ads, and more. An existing background in these types of tools is extremely beneficial but not strictly required depending on other experiences.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide project level of effort estimates involving data integration, data architecture, business analysis or application development
• Produce solution architecture and design documentation oriented towards meeting client needs
• Translate stakeholder business needs into detailed business/functional requirements documentation
• Support and improve upon ongoing standards and process for overall data architecture team, including developing governance, support and testing models
• Create datasets, extracts, or views of data that will be consumed by teams of analysts and data scientists to support data mining, analytics, reporting, and dashboards
• Perform exploratory data validation with analysts to ensure quality data standards are in place and ensure data integrity during all transformation steps

As an ESG Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting RepRisk's growth and global reach by analyzing and entering risk incidents from NGOs, the internet, print and other media into the RepRisk ESG Risk Platform. RepRisk facilitates the identification and assessment of environmental, social and corporate governance issues which may present financial, reputational and ethical risks. It is used by investment professionals, financial institutions, supply chain managers, multinational corporations and compliance managers. The RepRisk ESG Risk Platform plays an integral role in increasing transparency and ensuring compliance with internal and international standards, thereby helping reduce risk exposure. 

• Identifying and assessing risk incidents related to environmental, social and corporate governance issues 

• Entering newly criticized companies, projects, etc. into the RepRisk® database  

• Summarizing and evaluating the incident according to our proprietary methodology  

You Bring 

• Excellent English writing skills, including strong analysis and editorial skills. 

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. A background in journalism, international relations, environmental, social, or media sciences is a plus

About the Role

• Study and analyze customer interactions, provide insights and guidance on mapping the prescribed customer journey to deliver seamless experience that will translate into a holistic customer experience model for AIA Philippines, including BPI AIA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in developing best customer value proposition for retention and increasing customer value and likewise enhance company-wide capabilities based on defined customer journeys
• Subject Matter Expert with oversight on customer journey mapping workshops, HCD / design thinking sessions, focus group discussions and other deep-dive consumer research.
• Design and develop research plans to better understand customer behavior in collaboration with Group Office, Customer Champions Tribe, Marketing and Segment heads, Distribution Channels and BPI AIA Partners, Operations Business Units.
• Oversee execution of enterprise research such as Customer Relationship Survey, NPS, CES, Real Time Customer Survey with Closed-Loop customer recovery management.
• Monitor and ensure completion of action items from insights generated from enterprise and key customer research relative to Customer Experience Governance. As part of CX governance, have an oversight on initiatives and solutions that will address customer or distribution pain points, as identified in existing customer research.
• Establish standard research request process and criteria for agency selection and optimize research budget to yield the most valuable customer insights to achieve business goals.
• Perform analysis from available external data such as public data, market sizing, historical research, competitive scan from various media to generate valuable consumer insights.
• Develop and maintain the Customer 360 Insights Group for crowd sourcing or voxpop research.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading research efforts, working closely with teams of scientists, and other professionals to achieve research goals. The Research and Development Specialist will be expected to have an excellent knowledge of our organization’s products or services and a strong understanding of our customers’ needs and be responsible for ensuring that the organization meets regulatory requirements for conducting trials or product testing.
• Responsible in performing analyses as defined in the Matrix of Laboratory test and Analyses and reporting test results according to the Quality Management System policies and procedures.

Specific Responsibilities   

• Develop new technologies or processes based on industry market trends.
• Represent the organization as part of the technical working group on laboratory testing and emerging trends and regulation committee in relevant industry associations and regulating bodies.
• Conduct research and development activities to support the company’s strategic objectives and develop them into new technologies or processes based on industry market trends and customer needs..
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that the company’s products and services are aligned with the latest industry trends and regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
• Provide technical support to other departments as required.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and regulations.
• Develop a comprehensive plan, including what experiments will be conducted, how many subjects will be involved in the trial, and an outline of the tests to be used.
• Conduct research tests and experiments to gather data on a particular project or product.

• Create reports detailing test results and any conclusions drawn from those results.

• Conducts method validation and verification of existing and new laboratory testing capabilities.
• Provides input on method improvement. Innovate testing method to reduce turnaround time and save costs.
• Develops analytical methods not traditionally done in the laboratory based on customer’s needs.
• Conducts training/awareness session for internal staff and clients.
• Ensures that work area and assigned laboratory equipment are clean, safe and secured in accordance with company safety manual and QMS.
• Prepares purchase request for laboratory supplies related to R&D activities.
• Ensures compliance to the Group and national policies including but not limited to the maintenance of the Quality Management System.
• Operating to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity.
• Complies with the Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Energy (QHSEE) policies and supporting objectives including, but not limited to:
• Demonstrates strong commitment to SGS QHSEE policies, procedures and work instructions by actively participating in             meetings, projects and events, completes required training, intervenes in unsafe situations, refuses unsafe work, and complies fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to HSEE
