Your Responsibilities  

The Business Information Research (BIR) Operations Manager will oversee a group of BIR Leads and/or analysts who are responsible for the creation and maintenance of RepRisk’s datasets, with a focus on companies and infrastructure projects, which are vital inputs to the RepRisk® ESG Risk Platform. The BIR Operations Manager will oversee the development of the BIR Leads and the corresponding analysts, building a client centric culture to ensure performance standards are met and supporting the overall goal of establishing Manila as the centre of excellence for dataset management.   

The BIR Operations Manager will focus on the development and well-being of the team, while setting out individual roadmaps for the group’s future with the company and is expected to be a conduit for process improvements and strategic decisions. The BIR Operations Manager is also expected to collaborate with other divisions and Department Heads located in Asia, Europe, and North America in support of strategic projects and the company’s overall goals.

As a key player in our dynamic team  

• You work closely with the Head of BIR and the BIR Leads to ensure that requests from internal and external clients located across Asia, Europe, and North America are processed in a timely and accurate manner   
• You manage the BIR teams and resources to carry out multiple deliverables including projects and ad hoc tasks requested by various and at times, competing stakeholders by deliberating and identifying priorities based on agreed and committed goals and objectives

• You coach BIR Leads effectively and set an example when it comes to data integrity, purposeful, open and solution-oriented communication, as well as performance monitoring and professional and personal development    
• You chair the weekly Business Information Research Council meetings whenever the BIR Head is away while proactively sharing acquired knowledge and contributing to corresponding projects on a regular basis

The project Manager will collaborate with and support our US project management team and the CEO of the organization.

Applicants must be able to work remotely and adhere to Pacific US time (10PM-7AM Philippine time).

• Collaborate with the US project management team and the CEO of the organization on day-to-day activities and offer support.
• Manage all operational and tactical aspects of various implementation projects on a daily basis.
• Contribute to the creation of Project Plans;
• Elicit and define project timelines while working with the US project management team.
• Effectively communicate plans, progress, and status/updates to employees and stakeholders.
• Documenting significant activities and carrying out decisions made during meetings.
• Preparing necessary presentation materials for customer meetings.
• Undertaking project tasks as required.
• Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project in ERP.
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings, action items and assign tasks and accountability to project and internal resources as required.
• New project engagement on internal kickoff and gather project resources for the Program Manager as required.

Salary: P80,000 to P100,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday – Friday  (09:00 AM - 06:00 PM US Eastern Time Zone)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• SEC Reporting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and the willingness to take “ownership” of your tasks.
• Bachelor's Degree (Minimum) or Masters in Accounting or CPA required.
• Public Accounting / Auditing Background preferred but not required.
• Full Cycle Accounting experience including close and financial statements required.
• Strong Skills in QuickBooks and MS Office Required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with independent decision-making skills.

 

What will you do?

• Supervise staff and oversee closing of several companies’ books. On a timely basis, analysis specific companies’ activities including agreements, resolutions, other documents and record necessary entries to reflect current transactions.
• Reconcile and analyze books and records and quickly and efficiently adjust books to reflect GAAP.
• Prepare SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, S-1, management discussion and analysis and review of iXBRL while interacting closely with auditors and lawyers.
• Prepare full financial statements and notes to financials including balance sheet, income statement, statement of changes in stockholders’ equity and cash flow statement. Prepare books for monthly  and quarterly reporting.
• Prepare and review audit supporting schedules and complete disclosure and inquiry checklist for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Analyze and explain differences from previous quarter. Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP. Assist partners with various projects.
• Documentation of technical accounting memos for recent accounting pronouncements and complex accounting transactions
