About the team

Creates and maintains the processes of the division’s quality program. Also provides consulting for software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements to product development or operations teams within the division and to clients.

What you will be doing

• Develops, maintains and upgrades Manual or Automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans

• Performs usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability and security.

• Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms

•Controls and manages own daily test activities

• Provides internal quality assurance.
• Supports test lead to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.

What you bring

• Experience in Manual AND Automation testing are required

• Cobol mainframe background is a plus but not required

• Has worked on Payments / Credit Cards systems is a plus

• Any Banking Systems exposure is good to have

• Knowledge of methods, tools and technology used in software testing
• Knowledge and use of quality management methods, tools and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software that meets needs of client/business partner

Description:

Experienced Software QA Engineer will collaborate with development, product managers, and project managers (scrum masters) to ensure quality. He/she will also work closely with developers in an agile scrum environment. L3 SQA engineer will possess a good understanding of agile testing. Responsibilities:

• Provide QA for development of a web based application in an agile (scrum) environment
• 4+ years experience in software testing, B/S testing or web app testing preferred
• Strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance methodologies, process and best practices for SAAS based applications
