The position is responsible for operational support and management for operating system patching activities covering the Arch Reinsurance Segment user workstation landscape. The Audio-Visual Engineer is the first line of engagement for Acquire BPO’s audio-visual technologies and works with internal and external customers to design, build, and support solutions for conference rooms and CCTV.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary resource accountable for audio-visual conference facilities, including (but not limited to) Cisco VC, AMX, Polycom, Skype, WebEx, Zoom, etc…

• Provide support for meetings, including setup, testing, and execution.

• Owns and manages Acquire BPO’s CCTV and audio-visual conference systems and ensures daily health checks are performed

• Takes ownership and drives action for issues found during health checks . Spearheads troubleshooting of complex audio-video conferencing and CCTV issues, and coordinates repairs with vendors, if necessary

• Work with the facilities and projects teams to design and implement new audio-video conference rooms during site build out.

• Provide end user training and materials, as necessary

• Facilitate CCTV and audio-video trouble tickets

• Travels across Acquire BPO’s sites as deemed necessary to deploy or support the CCTV and audio-visual systems in scope.

A BIT ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or equivalent work history

• Solid grasp of electronics principles such as conduction, resistance, capacitance, signal amplifiers, etc…

• Experience in cabling technologies (copper, coax, fiber) and recommended standard communications protocols such as RS232.

• Understanding of basic IP addressing principles

• Minimum of 5 years work experience with video conference support, desktop area support and/or large meeting troubleshooting experience

• Solid proficiency with audio and video conferencing protocols including: SIP, H.232, cloud video delivery, Skype for Business Voice & Virtual Meeting Rooms

• Experience with Building Access Control (CCure would be a bonus)

• Ability to scope and find solutions.

• Solid proficiency with audio and video conference capabilities including: Cisco VC, AMX, Polycom, Crestron, WebEx, Skype, etc…

• Ability to troubleshoot complex video conferencing equipment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verifies using applicable equipment/device, analyzes and provide disposition to issues encountered pertaining to process and procedures to ensure quality and reliability of product at Test.

• Prepares periodic report such as: Quality Gate Reject, Subcon Score Card, MRB hold lots, CAR/8D, CAT’s, Trends and other applicable quality monitoring report
• Communicates issues, concerns and information to appropriate team either internal or external.
• Conducts training or refresher on defect criteria to AMPI operators and inspectors regarding inspection (visual/electrical) requirement as part of their certification to ensure high quality inspection. This includes Subcontractors if applicable.
• Coordinate with the Training System Core Group (TSCG) on any changes that needs to be implemented to ensure effectiveness of the certification process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• College graduate preferably Engineering.
• At least 2 years of QA Engineering  and/or related industry

Strategic Analytics is a dynamic, growing team at Arch.  The team develops innovative predictive models and analytical tools to improve profitability and growth.  This position will support the technical implementation of predictive models and analytical tools of the Strategic Analytics team.  The position requires strong Python and API experience, as well as user-facing application support experience.  The role is for an individual who is open to exploring and implementing new technology in Azure and Databricks, as the team is dynamic and the technology needs and requirements are fluid and will evolve over time.

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) has a strong technical background in multiple
engineering disciplines. This position will interface closely with a tight-knit team of engineers
across a broad range of technical areas that provide managed services to internal global

The ideal candidate will have a balance of breadth across engineering disciplines, depth and expertise in select areas, and practical real-life experience solving very complex problems while maintaining patience and professionalism in the most critical moments. The incumbent operates independently on complex assignments involving the analysis of both business and regulatory requirements, as well as the analysis of the individual technical implementations to maximize benefit to the business. This role requires an in depth knowledge of Active Directory, Federation, Linux, Storage, VMware ESX, Windows Server, and related system technologies. As a technical subject matter expert, you will mentor system engineers, review existing and implement new solutions to meet business objectives. The incumbent will act as an internal team escalation point for systems requests and issues. Travel up to 15% maybe be required based on project needs.

The Network Operation Centre (NOC) have three main roles:

1. to ensure maximum possible service availability and performance

2. to provision customer network services on core equipment

3. to provide support services for Engineering and other technical teams

These result in a highly diverse range of duties for the NOC - our engineers are required to ensure they are fulfilled in a timely, co-operative and professional manner.

We interact frequently with technical support, service provisioning and sales teams so it's important that we are clear and concise in our communications.

We also work very closely with the Engineering team and as such need to develop a good all-round understanding of systems and networks.

Diligence and attention to detail are also key skills along with an ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately.

We don't expect you to have all the required knowledge when you join us as many of these skills can be picked up through experience in the job, but those who do need to learn new skills must be prepared to spend time doing suitable research to ensure their grounding is thorough and properly understood.

As your knowledge and confidence develop you may be asked to join our call-out rotation providing 24x7 support on our core network and services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the Monitoring Systems
• Full fault troubleshooting, problem isolation, and corrective action implementation or escalation to network engineering for assistance
• Liaising, and own discussions with, 3rd party suppliers to troubleshoot problems, perform upgrades, resolve service impacts, manage network changes, and escalate as required
• Provisioning and configuring core network devices and tools,  such as IP assignment, core network configuration, DNS setup, monitoring software for core equipment and software, NNI ports and services, implementing MOPs for controlled core and edge network changes, etc.
• Network equipment build, installation, and configurations
• Performing and maintain hardware, serial numbers, security, and configuration audits
• Writing custom monitoring plugins and configuring bespoke graphing.
• Maintenance of WIKI and technical documentation (for NOC) of processes and procedures used throughout normal operations
• Development of knowledge and skills in network and system administration
• Tier 3 escalation point for all core network datacenter services and infrastructure, access network, and AireSpring services
• Participate in a 24x7 call-out rotation if required
