We are looking to hire a skilled test specialist to design and implement quality-check procedures for our products. As a test specialist, you are responsible to perform all the Quality assurance related activities with due diligence to ensure highest quality product delivered to the clients.

Your key tasks

• Manage all aspects of testing for one or more clients from Test Strategy to execution.
• Contribute to definition of Test Policy and Test Plan
• Provide effort estimations.
• Design, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusability.
• Manage test environments (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness)
• Manage tools for testing, tracking defects, statistics and requirements coverage reporting.
• Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficiencies.
• Monitor and control testing activities against planned budget and quality gates.
• Report progress to management and client
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes and procedures.
• Actively manage client relationship with appropriate communication if required.

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled Part-time Payroll Specialist to oversee and manage payroll operations for their employees in both Australia and the Philippines (Total of 19-20 employees). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, demonstrating an understanding of payroll regulations in both regions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Australia and the Philippines.

• Ensure timely and precise calculation of wages, taxes, and other deductions.

• Prepare and submit reports and payments accurately and punctually.

• Maintain accurate and organized payroll records for auditing purposes.

• Prepare and distribute pay slips, ensuring transparency and clarity in financial information.

• Address payroll-related queries and concerns from employees promptly and professionally.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, with exposure to both Australian and Philippine payroll systems.

• Experience with XERO accounting software is highly advantageous.

• Experience in other various international payment systems is also welcome.

• Strong ability in accounting/payroll.

• Very good English-speaking ability.

• Self-autonomy without the need of micro management.

This role will primarily perform management testing over key controls processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and other relevant finance standards, procedures, and policies.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Monitor compliance of processes and procedures with established policies and key controls by performing audits over specific financial and operational areas of focus.
• Perform assessments and testing for SOX controls and project review testing.
• Gather supporting documents for quarterly Corporate submissions.
• Develop and improve process documentation and annual update of SOX process narratives.
• Maintain intranet site and documentations related to finance controls.
• Support the review and development of processes and key controls for significant risk areas.
• Contribute expertise and recommendations in developing and documenting remediation plans to address review findings.
• Support the Team Lead in conducting training and knowledge transfer for new hires.
• Escalate issues and recommend resolutions to the Team Lead for timely. May support junior members of the team in addressing routine issues within the assigned processes.
• Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.
• Perform moderately complex tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures.
• Propose alternatives in identified issues and assist in investigating and in resolving common and unusual issues.
• Contribute in various and simultaneous process improvement initiatives to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity
• Contribute specialized expertise to different assigned projects and may provide key updates to Team Lead and Manager.

• Familiarity with defect tracking systems such as JIRA and Confluence
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of cloud-based applications such as Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs and MS Office applications

• Experience in automation and any programming language is a plus!
