• To verify the daily foreign exchange rates comply with and are advertised according to the procedure. 

• To prepare actual and estimated working capital schedules and to submit them to the Financial Controller. 

TAXATION 

• In regards to sales tax, consumption tax and payroll related taxes, to verify that amounts are promptly declared and paid on time. 

• To ensure that all tax matters are treated in a proper manner and in compliance with related legislation. 

• To follow up any tax changes and other legislation. 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES 

• To supervise and control subordinates to discharge their duties in an effective and efficient manner. 

• To ensure teamwork and efficient operation of the department through team spirit development. 

• To check the workload for the Accounting department and assist the Financial Controller in setting and changing assignment of work in order to prevent overburdening one part of the staff with heavy workload. 

• To manage the vacation schedule for the Accounting department, doing the necessary adjustments to prevent any trouble in the daily operation. 

• To evaluate employee performance and make suggestion to the Controller accordingly. 

• To plan and organize training for the staff in areas of accounting and finance. 

• To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by higher management.

Wrist Shared Service Center is looking for an IT Director Group IT Manila who will assume the overall leadership responsibility for Wrist’s Manila based IT organization. This includes employee management as well as local IT vendor relations management towards i.e., our local recruiting partner. You will be responsible for performance management of the IT teams as well as personal development and coaching of direct reports.

In collaboration with your Danish-based IT management colleagues you will be responsible for building an IT organization that works as one across Manila and Nørresundby (Denmark). Moreover, you are expected to cultivate a structured, process-oriented approach to operations, to ensure a smooth and efficient integration of operations across time zones and continents and lay the foundation for continuous service, process and quality improvement.    

To succeed in the role of IT Director Group IT Manila, you continuously communicate with your Danish IT management colleagues to align efforts and provide valuable insights and support.  

The overall responsibility includes, but is not limited to:

• Manage and develop Wrist’s Manila based IT organization to ensure that the center can deliver market leading IT services and capacity (cost and quality) to the entire Wrist Group
• Develop Wrist’s Manila based IT organization’s overall vision for enabling Wrist’s business strategy: Together with IT management, set direction for future development, opportunities as well as setup improvements
• Increase IT services offered by Wrist’s Manila based IT organization and develop additional value adding services in collaboration with your Danish colleagues in Wrist’s IT management and business stakeholders.
• Manage and ensure integration of Wrist’s Manila based IT-organization with the overall goal of ensuring that Wrist’s IT function readily can meet business needs
• Consolidate and optimize the Manila based IT organization’s processes: Experience with establishing ITIL practices and/or agile ways of working is a plus but not a requirement
• Responsible for results delivered by the Manila based IT organization
• Manage stakeholder alignment and engagement across Wrist’s business units and Group IT to ensure customer-centric focus and that as part of Group IT the Manila based IT organization represents one community and interface to the Wrist business.

• Manage budget as well as deliver benefits set out in the business case for the Manila based IT organization.

• Ensure cost transparency across all service areas in Manila.
• Ensure cost allocation to relevant cost centres when utilising team members for non-support activities.

Reports to

The Manila based IT organization is organizationally anchored in Wrist Group IT. As IT Director Group IT Manila you will report directly to the Group CIO, closely collaborate with the office of the CIO and have a dotted reporting line to the general manager of our WSC.

Documentation and record responsibilities

• Monthly financial reporting on budgets (REYR)

Qualification Requirements

• University degree (bachelor or master’s) within relevant field; Business, Computer Science, information technology management etc.

• Talent Development and Management. Spearhead the conduct of Training Needs Analysis; designs, recommend, and implements training & development policies and programs aligned to attainment of business goals. • Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Ensures that the HRIS is aligned and able to produce manpower executive summaries that are able to support and guide the strategic directions of the company. The software should also be properly configured and maximized in automating HR-related processes. Specifically, the HRIS should be used to improve the productivity of HR Staff, reduce processing turn-around time and produce quality HR services in the various HR functions.
• Social Relations. Nurture a good relationship with social partners and contribute to the good image of the company in the economic environment.
• Budget Management. Preparation of the Personnel Cost budget for the whole operations evaluated against business condition and other external economic indicators. Preparation of the HR department’s budget and provide support to manpower budget for the other departments.
