The Transportation Specialist is responsible for overseeing daily transportation requirements, ensuring seamless logistics operations, and achieving cost efficiency. This role involves managing transportation schedules, creating and issuing Freight Shipping Documents (FSDs) for trucks and container vans, reviewing and validating transportation costs, preparing and analyzing freight cost reports, and performing accurate freight costing to support business objectives.

Returns Management

• Oversee the end-to-end process of returns to ensure efficient handling and timely resolution

Transport Incident Management

Transport Service Performance Management

• Process accreditation of new service providers and ensures compliance to accreditation requirements

• Ensure to perform regular service provider performance evaluation

• Track and evaluate transport service providers against key performance indicators (KPIs)

Claims Management

• Handles complaints related to claims process, coordinates with Sales, Customer and Logistics Team

• Prepares claims against service providers on cargo damaged incidents and /or coordinates with the Risk Team for insurance claims

• Process and manage claims for damages, losses, or discrepancies during transport

• Collaborate with carriers, insurance providers, and internal departments for resolution

• Ensure to monitor claims receivable and payment settlement coordinates

• Handles investigation and closure of complaints related to damaged/discrepancy of goods and raw materials and damage to property

• Maintain accurate records and analyze claims data to identify improvement opportunities

• Coordinates with the Risk Team for any transactions related to processing of insurance

Process Improvement

• Continuously evaluate and refine reverse logistics processes for greater efficiency and cost savings

As a People Operations Process & Knowledge Specialist you will be responsible for an efficient, high-quality, customer centric People Services and Operations function. The team ensures global & local support of our People throughout their employment journey from onboarding to exit.

The People Operations Process & Knowledge Specialist (PKS) reports directly to the People Operations Support Partner. The main responsibility of the PKS is to support the overall operational excellence of the People Services & Operations (PS&O) team by analyzing operations processes, identifying & coordinating opportunities for improvement, tracking initiatives, representing the team in cross functional global meetings and projects, performing and coordinating system activities such as requirements gathering and end user testing, managing operational reports, and/or overseeing project operations. The Supplier-to-Market Corporate Quality Specialist is responsible for the design, implementation,  monitoring, and the continual improvement of the quality and food safety processes across the 1FG value chain to support quality performance and the consistent delivery of products that conform to quality and food safety standards. This role enables quality compliance of business initiatives and provides support for decision-making and resolution of supplier-to-market quality-related issues to enable business continuity.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs and develops processes relevant to supplier and toller quality management, manufacturing quality, new product and process quality, and to distribution and marketplace quality.
• Deploys and strategically supports the implementation of the Supplier-to-Market Quality processes, as well as applicable management systems elements (e.g. food safety prerequisite programmes) 
• Ensures the regulatory compliance of manufacturing, distribution & marketplace operations. Ensures that the business units are consistently updated on relevant regulations.
• Collaborates with relevant stakeholders and functional management teams to obtain and maintain alignment and support for Quality activities.
• Provides expertise and support, including training, relevant to quality and food safety management.
• Participates in the risk reviews of the Quality function.
• Guides project managers in the preparation of Quality Management Parameters (QMP) of PMO projects, and tracks the completion and approval of the QMPs. 
• Enables compliance of business initiatives and projects to applicable quality and food safety requirements, including regulatory requirements.
• Performs assessments of suppliers, tollers, manufacturing operations, and distribution and marketplace operations, including partners’ facilities (e.g. customer facilities, retail concessionaires, franchise stores), to verify conformance to quality, food safety and regulatory standards.
• Provides support to manufacturing units and other company operating units for their 3rd party audits (e.g. management system certifications, customer audits)
• Collects and analyzes data relevant to the quality performance of suppliers, manufacturing and distribution & marketplace operations, and evaluates the results of analysis of audit outcomes and findings to determine appropriate initiatives or programs that will enable improvement. 
• Conceptualizes, develops and deploys appropriate initiatives or programs to support and continually improve quality performance of suppliers, manufacturing operations, and distribution & marketplace operations, and to inculcate and sustain a strong quality culture.
• Assists in the implementation of incident management and crisis resolution, and business continuity activities.

Other Responsibilities

• Complies with company and regulatory standards and policies for quality, food safety, Halal, environment, health, and safety, as well as to internationally-recognized management system standards to which the organization subscribes.
• Responsible for reporting problems/ issues related to quality, food safety, Halal, environment, health, safety, and management systems to identified authorities.
• Actively participates in relevant company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc. 
• Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
