Projects / Responsibilities:

• Perform basic accounting duties such as bookkeeping of transactions with specific vendor categories and bank transactions, bank reconciliations of the company’s banks, update of accounts statements, monitoring of vendors’ balances and relevant accruals performing monthly reconciliations.

• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data. Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

• Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy, including AP bills and credit card statements.

The Reporting Analyst will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our reporting infrastructure within Business Operations. This role is centered on the technical aspects of report creation and management, particularly in our evolving call center environment. The focus will be on ensuring accurate, high-quality, timely reporting deliverables.

Key responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and regularly updating various reports and dashboards. The Reporting Analyst will primarily use tools like MS Excel, Power Query, and various database management systems. Proficiency in data manipulation, creating and editing macros, and translating data into understandable and visually appealing reports is essential. This role will contribute significantly to our ability to generate clear and impactful reports that support our analytics projects and strategic initiatives.

The Reporting Analyst will work closely with the business operations team to understand reporting needs and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in reports. The role will also involve continuously improving reporting processes and formats to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities: 

·         Develop, maintain, and update dashboards, reports, and any ad hoc requests from operations.

·         Implement and refine data analysis methodologies.

·         Ensure the integrity of data collection and utilization in reports.

·         Transform data into actionable insights for business decision-making.

·         Present findings in reports, summaries, dashboards, graphs, charts, and maps to provide detailed intelligence about the

project's state.

·         Identify opportunities for process improvements in reporting.

·         Assist in maintaining the relevance of reports and dashboards as business needs evolve.

Basic Qualifications:

·         Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

·         Experience with Power Query is preferred.

·         Familiarity with MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

·         Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.

·         Ability to simplify complex data into understandable formats.

·         Organized and detail-oriented.

·         Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

This successful candidate will be focused on validating, reporting, and enhancing Avid’s ARR – MRR and Subscription License data. These are key data sets that underlie critical KPI’s around customer and product retention and provide a wealth of insight for making smarter business decisions.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Gather and analyze data: Monitor analytics and provide insights and recommendations that drive performance improvements. Perform recurring weekly and monthly data review and analyses to support KPI reporting to publish KPI reports.

• Analyze process effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, make detailed recommendations, and measure impact of changes.

• Own improvements to documentation including data dictionaries, data definitions, process documentation and other methodologies, to help drive a single source of truth.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of experience with progressively growing responsibility in FP&A, Business Operations, Sales Operations, or equivalent experience in a complex organization with a fast-paced environment
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Has ability to own and drive independent cross-functional analysis projects
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal & written
• Proven ability to interpret analysis and provide meaningful insights and recommendations
