What You’ll Bring

You will bring experience in high-volume ticket management using ITSM tools focusing on adherence to documented procedures and achievement of SLAs. Experience with Software Asset Management technologies from Flexera Software, Snow Software, Service Now, or similar will be highly valued.

You will have knowledge of key Software Asset Management concepts and processes, plus an awareness of software license metrics, as you will be undertaking a range of exciting activities relating to software license management, software request management, license reclamation, software contract management, and renewal management.

You will be responsible for delivering the key aspects of SAM service for Datacom.

What You’ll Do

In this role you will work collaboratively with The ITAM team, the Internal Group Technology and our client- The users of Datacom. Essentially, the Software Asset Management Analyst will:

• Management of the Software Request resolver group in the ITSM technology.
• Maintain the Software Asset Register, and all supporting Proof of Entitlement and Contract evidence, in collaboration with the Software Asset Manager, the customer, application owners, procurement/finance, and contract stakeholders.
• Allocate licences to users and devices in the SAM technology resulting from approved Software Requests.
• Apply the software License Reclamation Policy to software inventory.
• Support technical teams to install software through the supply of media and keys.
• Respond to, or escalate, licensing queries from stakeholders.
• Maintain the Software Renewal calendar.
• Deliver, or support the delivery of, Effective License Position and Software Utilisation reports in accordance with the documented reporting schedule.
• Identify and report compliance issues and risks.
• Supply license entitlement and software inventory data to support operations activities.
• Deliver all agreed scheduled reports to other ITSM and ITAM stakeholders.
• Adhere to the SAM Processes, Policies, and Procedures documented. Identify non-adherence and escalate for review.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Utilise Flexera One, Activate and Cherwell.

About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handle large data processing such as data mining, cleansing, transformation, merging, aggregation, and calculation by using data processing software (i.e. DCS, SQL)
• Design, model, and generate deterministic or predictive data using Prophet, SAS, Python, or R Studio.
• Using processed data, conduct investigation, provide analysis, and endorse recommendations to stakeholders
• Present and communicate modeling and data analysis results and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Become an SME of actuarial and company data and data system.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree related to math/statistics with good scholastic records
• Experience: At least 1-year relevant experience in Actuarial Valuation, Studies or Product Development, with any of the top 10 life insurance companies.
• Certifications:
  • Affiliate of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines
  • Almost Associate of Life Management Institute (LOMA)
• Skills:
  • Experience in manipulating data sets, designing, building actuarial and/or predictive models, and is familiar with the following software/tools:
    • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, SAS etc.) to transform data and draw insights from large data sets.
    • Knowledge and exposure in actuarial software especially Prophet and DCS (or equivalent).
    • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Power BI, SAS VA etc.
    • Automation solution such as Powershell and UiPath
  • Knowledgeable in IFRS and PFRS insurance accounting and reporting standards is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey in easy to understand terms the results and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Comfortable to navigate and willing to work on ambiguous situations.
• Proactive and flexible attitude, with willingness to take an “all hands-on deck” approach

  Demonstrate sound judgment by independently monitoring a specified goal amount of alerts on a daily basis in order to identify high risk transactions and fraudulent processing activity.

• Monitor merchant authorizations, deposits and refunds to identify suspect transactions via RiskNet.  Identify merchant accounts for credit referral or for further investigation

• Verify information with card issuing banks

• Validate suspicious transactions by contacting merchants and obtaining the necessary documents in arriving at a decision

• Capture and hold funds according to guidelines as warranted.  Recommend reserve release of merchant funds where appropriate.

• Process electronic funds transfers and wires for merchants as needed

• Liaise with the Investigations Team to gather information on suspect fraud transactions for timely action on referred cases

• Focus on the customer first by educating  merchants on company policies and procedures as they relate to preventing financial losses for the merchant while simultaneously mitigating losses for Global Payments

As Finance Analyst 2 - Invoice Processing, you will support the APAC entities in providing Invoice processing services, accounts review reconciliation, verifying and invoice posting. You will be directly reporting to Accounts Payable Manager. You would be directly responsible for processing specific portfolio of vendor invoices and/or accounts. Monitoring and Data analysis to be reported to Department head and with transactions Globally.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform day to day financial transactions, including timely and accurate processing and validation of invoices.
• Ensure that Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Receipts (GR) are properly matched and processed (3-way/2-way match).
• Complete monthly vendor reconciliations and related GL Account reconciliations.
• Verify, investigate, and handle invoice discrepancies and invoices on hold for assigned entities and suppliers.
• Review and reconcile complex and critical supplier statement of accounts against company's records.
• Work cross functionally to resolve any invoice/payment issues.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliation at month end for the assigned accounts.
• Complete problem resolution, analyze aging reporting, and open GR report to solve pending issues.
• Compliance with SSC Accounts Payable KPIs and process metrics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing projects.
