• Assisting customers with the activation and setup of their product and services
• Validation of the customer’s entitlement for support (e.g. a client’s customer, account is current, level of support service entitlement)
• Logging all customer incidents upon receipt into the approved case management system;
• Providing support to customers by:
• Providing a timely and clear indication of the nature of the incident,
• Communicating what steps will be taken to attempt to resolve the incident,
• Setting the customer’s expectation on what the estimated time to resolve the issue is,

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process Set-up and Development

Process Parameter Optimization

• Optimizes process parameters by experimental designs, process variable definitions and robust design engineering for new packages or continuous improvement.

Improvement of Existing Methods and Conception of New Methods

• Conceives, sources out and tests alternative and new methods/processes to improve manufacturability, yield, and quality.

• Ensures that engineering lots for new devices and packages are assembled in conformance to all requirements and process concerns are reported.

Cost Reduction and Yield Improvement

• Plans, designs, implements and monitors activities geared to improve product and material yield, reduce production cost and/or reduce product reliability defects.

Standardization and Documentation

• Generates, interprets, and updates process and material specifications and flowcharts for new package projects.

• Interprets quality inspection criteria and specifications.

• Prepares technical reports on the results of evaluations and investigations and presents recommended actions.

Coordination/Communication of Process Issues for Improved Quality, Manufacturability and Reliability.

• Coordinates quality, manufacturability, process control and reliability issues with internal and external customers.

• Facilitates discussion of material and equipment quality and performance issues with supplier/s.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical / Electronics and Communication /Materials / Metallurgical / Chemical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering.

• Subject matter expert with at least 10  years’ experience in a Package Development, New Product Introduction and/or Sustaining role in a semiconductor assembly environment for leadframe and substrate-based packages, including failure modes and failure analysis, covering standard and custom package.

• Comprehensively perform, review and interpret mold simulations and create/recommend effective solutions to achieve optimum results.

• Review and interpret POD and tooling designs and create/recommend effective solutions to achieve design intent.

• Comprehensive knowledge of downstream and upstream Assembly processes that impact the Molding Processes) and can be impacted by the output of the Molding Process, respectively.

• Comprehensive use of principles of Design for Manufacturability, DFMEA and Design Review for Manufacturability by Failure Modes (DRBFM) or its equivalent.

• Subject matter expert in the use of statistical methods of experimentation and analysis and their associated application/tools (DOE, SAS-JMP, Minitab, others) to establish and improve Process and Equipment Capability.

• Comprehensive knowledge and application of the Advance Quality Core tools (Process Flow, FMEA, Control Plan, Process Specifications and Work Instructions)

• Comprehensive knowledge and application of Problem-Solving Methods and use of the appropriate analytical techniques to establish cost effective and efficient solutions with high level of critical thinking with solution provider mindset.

• High level of effective written, oral communication, presentation, and training skills. 

• High aptitude in mechanical reasoning and drawing with comprehensive knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing.

• Comprehensive use of Continuous Improvement Tools like PDCA, Lean, others.

• Experience in handling, supervising a technical team and possesses good people skills.

The internship missions

Working within the operations team of our consumer goods QC inspections business, the intern will be responsible for the continuous improvement of our processes aiming at operational excellence and offering cutting-edge solutions for better quality control in the supply chains of our clients.

• Provide technical support on the ground for the inspections: perform product inspections in the factories, train the inspectors, optimize the organization in the factories.
• Perform internal audits to ensure that the inspection SOP is well applied by the inspectors and that the client’s inspections requirements are well integrated and followed.
• Provide technical expertise to identify and evaluate process improvement opportunities: inspections physical and IT tools, AI technologies, inspection protocols, training, data management and analysis, monitoring tools…
• Partner and collaborate with the different support departments to ensure that all issues reported by the inspectors or by the clients are addressed and that effective solutions are implemented at all levels.
• Autonomously manage selected LEAN projects with high value deliverables for improvement of lead-time, quality and costs of the products inspections.

The Authorize.net Technical Solutions Analyst acts as the main technical liaison to Authorize.net’s key designated clients, providing phone, email, knowledge base & online ticket support.  The Analyst is responsible for owning the ongoing support needs of top merchants and top resellers, and will ensure payment processing, service configurations and payment implementations are functioning optimally, while fostering positive client relationships and interactions along the way. The Technical Analyst role globally represents a primary and secondary line of support for Authorize.net’s products, acting as an escalation path from various internal teams for designated and qualified clientele.  Should a key client or its payment partner encounter any payment related concerns, the Analyst owns driving resolution. This may include assisting new key clients with the initial set up of Authorize.net’s payment services, as well as educating any established designated clients on the use of new cutting-edge offering such as token services, escalating to internal or external groups, or training clients on online business management tools.  Technical Analysts quickly identify and resolve first and second level technical problems while building client relationships with designated accounts, and often work with external departments while tracking open tickets for extended periods of time, interacting with internal Level 3 Product Support and various Product Operations teams. You will be an outstanding teammate who enjoys working with others, including internal engineering and operational teams, to solve demanding customer issues. The size of the CS team creates a varied role with the need for an ability to act in multiple capacities at a time, including as the point of contact for small projects, performing outbound contact campaigns to key clients, and creating reports for managers. Analysts are great teammates with the ability to deliver results in a dynamic and ever-changing environment with superb communication and time management skills. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
