• Minimum 8-10 years professional experience in engineering consulting specialising in geotechnical engineering;
• Recognised Civil Engineering qualification (Bachelor/Master Degree);
• Proven technical proficiency and experience in geotechnical and foundation design and analysis on infrastructure projects in Singapore, including foundations, deep excavation, basement cofferdam design and strutting system – permanent and temporary works;
• Sound understanding and application of Hongkong design codes and commonly used geotechnical analysis software including PLAXIS 2D and 3D
• A proven ability to be able to understand the ground and model it in all its complexity, and to understand construction sequencing of foundations, retaining walls and basement projects;
• Energetic, proactive, reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of customer service principles and working closely with Contractors.

About the Job:

• Analyze business requirements and produce a comprehensive test plan based on the test acceptance criteria
• Identify, report, and track system defects and/or problem areas within the software. Ensure that all issues are captured and resolved before reaching the production environment
• Perform both functional (component, smoke, UI, API, regression, etc.) and non-functional tests (load testing, etc.)
• Participate in process improvements and development of test strategies and methods
• Create and maintain testing documentations and training materials

• Presents, offers, follows up and makes sales transactions for SGS services.
• Develops and implements Marketing and Sales Plans to ensure a robust Sales pipeline and meeting Sales targets.
• Prepares sales reports via the CRM and keeping the CRM accounts updated.
• Submits Weekly Sales Plan and Sales Accomplishment Reports Increases client base by scouting for potential clients and maintaining managed accounts through identification of their needs, packaging services that would best fulfil their requirements, and making successful sales transactions.
• Maintains regular communication with managed accounts and follows up proposals with potential clients.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in collaboration of departmental goals or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

• Experience in developing well architected APIs and microservices containerized using Docker and based on DDD (Domain Driven Design)
• Experience designing efficient persistence data layers by using RDBMS and NoSQL approach
• Experience in the use of message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understands the difference between a Coder and a Software Engineer.

Job Responsibilities :

• Develop, test and deploy payment gateway applications and modules using LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) technologies
• Integrate payment channels such as credit/debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and others payment gateway
• Design and implement APIs for payment processing and ensure proper documentation and maintenance of the APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions that meet those requirements
• Work with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure seamless integration of payment systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payment processing, including transaction failures, chargebacks, and refunds

Pre-Requisites :

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP)
• Extensive experience in developing web applications using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) and related technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with Laravel framework
• Experience with Git development tool
• Ability to create project timelines, estimate project tasks and resources, and track progress
